6月12日，香港石篱圣若望天主教小学萧茵校长、王永和副校长、梁栢琼主任（课程统筹）、彭裕娜老师（推广及交流） 、颜颖笙老师（推广及交流）和郑隽宁老师（体育科主任）一行到访广州暨大港澳子弟学校（ASJ），双方就管理办法、教学体系、人才培训、教育融合等方面进行交流探讨。广州暨大港澳子弟学校总校长郑景亮陪同参访，执行校长封岩主持座谈会。
On 12 June, Principal Siu Yan, Vice Principal Wong Wing Wo, Curriculum Coordinator Pak King Leung, Promotion and Communication Tina Pang, Promotion and Communication Christine Ngan and Panel Chair of Physical Education Cheng Chun Ning of Shek Lei St. John’s Catholic Primary School, Hong Kong visited ASJ in Guangzhou and exchanged views on management practices, teaching system, talent training and educational integration. Cheng, Chief Principal of ASJ, accompanied the visit and Executive Principal Feng Yan chaired the symposium.
萧茵校长一行参观了校园，了解了学校的办学特色、办学设施、学生发展、教育理念等，对学校的办学理念和成果给予了高度评价。
Principal Siu Yan and her team toured the campus and learned about the school's characteristics, facilities, student development and educational philosophy, and spoke highly of the school's philosophy and achievements.
座谈会上，郑景亮总校长对香港石篱圣若望天主教小学一行到访表示欢迎。他提及，4月29日，广州暨大港澳子弟学校小学部足球队曾前往香港石篱圣若望天主教小学与该校学子进行足球友谊赛，这不仅是小学部足球队第一次与香港学子竞技，也是内地与香港通关后两地学校的首次交流。
At the symposium, Principal Cheng welcomed the visit of Shek Lei St. John’s Catholic Primary School. He mentioned that on 29 April, the primary school football team from ASJ had gone to Shek Lei St. John’s Catholic Primary School, to play a friendly football match with the school's students, which was not only the first time for the primary school football team to compete with Hong Kong students, but also the first exchange between the two schools after the customs clearance between the Mainland and Hong Kong.
郑景亮总校长表示，推动内地与港澳青少年交流，实现粤港澳大湾区教育融合，需要从小做起。广州暨大港澳子弟学校作为全国第一所港澳子弟学校，肩负着培养具有爱国情怀的港澳青少年的使命。我校曾先后与香港福建中学、香港官立嘉道理爵士小学和香港道教联合会圆玄学院陈吕重德纪念学校成为姊妹学校，也希望能与香港石篱圣若望天主教小学缔结姊妹学校，为两校深入交流、合作做铺垫。
As the first school for children of Hong Kong and Macau in China, ASJ has the mission of nurturing young people from Hong Kong and Macau with patriotic sentiments. Our school has become sister schools with Hong Kong Fukien Secondary School, Sir Ellis Kadoorie Government Primary School and Hong Kong Taoist Association Yuen Yuen College Chan Lui Chung Tak Memorial School. In the future, we hope to have more links with Shek Lei St. John’s Catholic Primary School, to effectively promote exchanges between the students of the two schools.
香港石篱圣若望天主教小学校长萧茵提及，作为暨南大学校友，她一直以来对暨大港澳子弟学校都十分关注，4月份与广州暨大港澳子弟学校足球队的友谊赛，是两校打开交流大门的钥匙。萧校长指出办学愿景和办学初心是教育发展的重要一环，两校都致力于培育国际化人才，双方缔结姊妹学校是教育界协同效应的体现，是推动粤港澳三地文化融合的重要举措。
Principal Siu Yan mentioned that as an alumnus of Jinan University, she has always been very interested in ASJ and the friendly match with ASJ in April was the key to open the door of exchange between the two schools. Principal Siu pointed out that the vision and initial vision of the school is an important part of the development of education, and that both schools are committed to nurturing international talents. The twinning of the two schools is a manifestation of the synergy effect of the education sector and an important initiative to promote the cultural integration of Guangdong, Hong Kong and Macau.
据了解，香港石篱圣若望天主教小学于1970年创校，目前为区内学童提供全人教育服务。该校旨在建立一个充满关爱的校园，务求使学生能活在爱的环境中。同时培养学生本着「勤勇朴诚」校训，使他们能成为社会栋梁，并终身学习，自我增值，将来可对家庭、对社会、对国家作出贡献。
Shek Lei St. John’s Catholic Primary School is a government-aided whole day co-ed school, sponsored by the Catholic Diocese of Hong Kong. It was founded in 1970 and was formerly named as Shek Lei Catholic Primary School (Afternoon Session). Since November 2009, it has been moved to the campus at Tai Pak Tin Street, maintaining all round education for children of the same district. The school is a place to shape students to be good persons in glorifying the Lord and achieving the ultimate goal of lifelong learning so that students can make contributions to their family, society and to the nation in the future.
