To better assist parents in finding the right educational path for their children, we have invited Mr Yao, the father of Sunny, a G8  student, to share his insights on the positive changes he has observed in his child during the three months since transferring from a public middle school to ISA Liwan School.

Like many parents, Mr Yao's primary goal for his child's education is to provide a first-class learning environment that nurtures both academic pursuits and the discovery of their unique strengths. Faced with the competitive nature of traditional education, Mr Yao made the decision to transfer his child to ISA Liwan School. In this diverse and inclusive international educational ecosystem, his child can experience comprehensive development and pursue a wider range of opportunities.

从“迷茫”到“明确”

“她己经开始不断思考和追寻自己的人生目标这个重大问题了。”


姚爸爸回忆起第一次参观爱莎荔湾的时候,王玉梅校长问了孩子一个问题:“你未来的人生目标是什么?” 当时的他沉默了。因为在之前的学习生活中,孩子每天两点一线,脑子被各种各样的作业和考试占据,鲜少关注到这个重要的人生难题。也正是这一次与校长的对话,让姚爸爸深刻感受到爱莎的国际化教育理念以及积极践行——注重发掘学生的兴趣爱好,个性和志向,引导孩子独立思考,并鼓励他们探索人生的目标和意义。


“每个孩子天生都是一颗优秀的种子,但他们什么时候能自我生发,生长出智慧苗芽,学校和老师的启蒙至关重要。感恩爱莎为孩子们的成长提供了如此肥沃的土壤。”

From "Confusion" to "Clarity"

"She has started to reflect and pursue her life goals."


During the initial visit to ISA Liwan School, Principal Myra Wang posed a significant question to Mr Yao's child: "What are your future life goals?" This inquiry left the child speechless, as their previous educational experience had primarily revolved around assignments and exams, leaving little opportunity for such contemplation. It was through this conversation with the principal that Mr Yao gained a profound understanding of ISA's international educational philosophy and its practical application. The school prioritizes the exploration of students' interests, individuality, and aspirations, fostering independent thinking and the pursuit of life's purpose and meaning.


Every child is a promising seed, and their ability to sprout and grow into wise individuals relies heavily on the enlightenment provided by the school and teachers. I am grateful to ISA School for offering such a fertile environment for our children's development.




Mr Yao deeply appreciates ISA Liwan School's holistic support and guidance, which has helped Sunny transition from confusion to a clearer sense of her life goals. He recalls the initial uncertainties and anxieties during her school start, but as time passed and she became immersed in the school environment, she gradually started contemplating and pursuing her aspirations. This brings immense joy to Mr Yao.

回想起3个月刚入学的时候,姚爸爸提到授课语言以及学习环境的转变让Sunny措手不及。爱莎对个体学生给予高关注度以及个性化辅导,帮助Sunny跨过了最初语言上等诸多障碍,顺利适应了全新的学习旅程。


父母作为孩子的得力支持,陪她一起经历了这个挑战过程,也见证了Sunny从陌生害怕到主动学习、主动寻求帮助,再到主动补习英语的转变过程。姚爸爸也想借此机会,感谢学校领导和老师给孩子的关爱和帮助,也非常感谢她的新同学的帮助和陪伴。也希望可以继续与学校保持紧密的合作协助关系,共同助力孩子的个性化成长。

Increased Independence, Confidence, and Initiative

"The second change is her enhanced independence, confidence, and joy!"


Recalling the initial three months at school, Mr Yao noted that the transition in language and learning environment initially caught Sunny by surprise. However, with ISA Liwan School's individualized attention and guidance, Sunny successfully overcame language barriers and smoothly adapted to her new learning journey.


As supportive parents, they witnessed Sunny's transformation from fear and unfamiliarity to active participation in learning, seeking help proactively, and even taking the initiative to supplement her English studies. Mr Yao expresses gratitude to the school leaders, teachers, and the support of Sunny's new classmates. He looks forward to maintaining a close collaborative relationship with the school to further support Sunny's personal growth.

Previously, Sunny's schedule primarily revolved around academic pursuits, leaving little room for exploration in other areas.
