Keeping Safe: Child Protection Curriculum

ISA Science City School prioritises every student's health and safety, working as both a protector and a guide, and is dedicated to ensuring that every ISA student grows and develops in a safe and pleasant atmosphere. The campus is outfitted with an authoritative medical and security team, as well as a professional Child Protection Curriculum (KS: CPC) committee, which focuses on the children' lives and mental health and works to provide a safe and secure school environment with "zero harm."

爱莎科学城学校把每一位学生的健康和安全放在工作的制高点，既作为保护者，同时也作为引导者，致力于让每一位爱莎学子都能在安全舒适的环境中成长与发展。校园内不仅配备权威的医疗和安保队伍，同时也成立了专业的儿童保护课程(KS: CPC)委员会，关注学生生命与心理健康，构建“零伤害”的安全校园环境。

Keeping Safe: The Child Protection Curriculum (KS: CPC) is a world-class, evidence-based child safety curriculum that teaches children and young people to recognise abuse and inform a trusted adult, as well as to understand what appropriate and inappropriate touching behaviour and ways is to keep themselves safe.

保障安全: 儿童保护课程（KS:CPC）是一个世界级的，以证据为基础的儿童安全课程，教导儿童和青少年识别虐待，并告知可信赖的成年人，了解什么是适当与不适当的触摸行为以及保护自己安全的方式。

About CPC Committee

Members of the school's senior management team and faculty members with considerable educational or administrative expertise comprise the committee；

委员会由校内具有丰富教育或管理经验的高管团队成员和教师组成。

Implement frequent and systematic training programmes for all staff members so that every adult on campus understands how to "avoid accidents" and "minimise or prevent injuries in the first instance," as well as provide appropriate counsel and assistance to pupils at the appropriate time；

定期为全校员工进行系统性的课程培训，使得每一位校园内的成人都懂得应如何“避免事故发生”，以及“在事故发生后第一时间化险为夷或将伤害降到最低”，在恰当的时间给予学生正确引导和帮助；

To assist each student in improving his or her self-protection capacity and the proper approach to resolve problems, fights, or injuries, as well as to foster a sense of trust between teachers and students；

帮助每一位学生提高自我保护能力，以及在矛盾、冲突或伤害发生后正确的解决方法，促进师生之间的信任感；

Organise regular parent classes on relevant educational topics for parents, so that home and school can collaborate to provide students with a complete sense of psychological and physical security (The first parent class on child protection will be held on Thursday, and interested parents are welcome to scan the QR code in the poster at the end of the article to register for the class).

定期为家长组织相关教育专题的家长课堂，家校联合为学生提供充分的心理和生理上的安全感（首次儿童保护课程家长课堂将于本周四举办，欢迎感兴趣的各位家长扫描文章末尾海报中的二维码报名参与）。

To assist children in better protecting themselves, the school has incorporated child safety education into daily teaching and management, and we also hope that our parents can effectively assume the responsibility and duty of guardianship, and work hand in hand with the school to build a solid defense for children's healthy growth. Only when parents can provide a haven and steadfast support for their children will they have the inner fortitude to move forward in life. No matter how busy you are, please make time for your child and listen to his or her learning problems and life troubles with a caring and understanding attitude. Allow parents to become the listener to their children's hearts, their children's guides when they face problems, and their children's protectors when they are in danger.

为帮助孩子更好的保护自己, 学校把儿童安全教育渗透到日常的教学管理中,同时也希望我们的家长也能够切实担负起监护职责和义务,与学校携手同行,共同筑起孩子身心健康成长的坚固防线。只有父母可以成为孩子的安全港和坚实后盾的时候,孩子才有来自内心的力量,在人生的道路上勇往直前。无论多忙,请您尽可能抽出足够多的时间给自己的孩子,俯下身子,以关怀尊重的态度、理解宽容的心态,听孩子说学习,聊生活,讲见闻,提困惑,诉忧愁,吐苦恼,当孩子心事的倾听者,做孩子遇到困难时的引导者,做孩子遇到危险时的保护者。
