In this incident, under the pretext of "subduing China," Japanese militarism suddenly attacked the city of Shenyang in Northeast China. They destroyed railways, burned the city, and brutally massacred innocent civilians.
This incident ignited anti-Japanese fervor nationwide, inspiring people's spirit of resistance. Faced with the invasion of a formidable enemy, the Chinese people built a Great Wall of flesh and blood, expressing their firm protest against the enemy and their determination to defend the country. In those dark years, the martyrs guarded the dignity and independence of our nation. As Lu Xun once said, "The Chinese nation has no room for retreat, only forward."
