Connecting the real world to the class, learning happens everywhere. Field trip bring youngsters into the exploration of nature and provide them with a new learning environment. In this way, students are able to participate in a variety of teamwork activities to ignite their potential and improve learning abilities. Unlike the traditional class, field trip focuses on practice and experience, stimulating students' self-motivation and curiosity by driving them to interact with nature and face different realistic challenges. In the process, students can better understand and master what they have learned. This is because they do not just passively receive knowledge, but actively meet difficulties, collaborate with others, utilize skills and solve problems in reality.

Field trip, as an effective way to develop the 12 leadership traits, is not only popular among students, but is also a very important part of the IHP curriculum system. On October 13, 2023, all IHP students have their new field trip in this cool autumn. On this day, they traveled to Haiou Island in Panyu, Guangzhou, where they started an exciting journey.
户外探究作为培养12大领导力特质的有效途径，不仅深受学生欢迎，还是IHP国际高中课程体系中极为重要的一环。秋高气爽，暖风轻拂，2023年10月13日，IHP全体学生也迎来了新一轮的外出探究。这一天，他们去到了广州番禺的海鸥岛，在当地开启了一次精彩纷呈的研学之旅。
Haiou Island is a national 3A level tourist attraction, where there is no pollution from industry, no hustle and bustle of the city, and almost retains a complete original ecology. Green trees, quiet villages, blue sea, fertile fields, every place here is worth a visit. We rode our bicycles around the island, enjoying the cool sea breeze and feeling cozy and comfortable.
海鸥岛是国家AAA级旅游景区，这里没有工业的污染，没有市井的尘嚣，保留着较为完整的原生态。绿树、农庄、大海、田园，这里的每一帧，都值得打卡。我们骑着自行车，迎着凉爽的海风，环岛而行，惬意又舒适。
The Laser CS and the Blind Swordsman, these two activities that both require our insight and teamwork, instantly lit up the atmosphere at the scene. These exciting and interesting games brought students a moment of relaxation. We won together in cooperation, grew up in competition, relieved the pressure of study and maintained our physical and mental health in laughter.

In the equestrian class, students learned the basic characteristics and habits of horses and how to properly interact with them. Afterwards, they tried to ride the horses, had fun with the horses, and experienced the wonder of being in close contact with the horses. In this entertaining and challenging sport, we not only acquired riding skills, but also cultivated the quality of patience, coordination and courage.
马术课堂上，同学们从学习马匹的基本特点、生活习性以及如何正确地与马匹进行互动，到一跃马背之上，驭马而行，与马同乐，尽情体验与马匹亲密接触的乐趣。在这项有趣而富有挑战性的运动中，我们不仅习得了骑乘技巧，更培养了耐心、协调和勇气等多方面的能力。
Start the engine, drive the car, and leave a dashing profile. Driving go-karts can exercise the sensitivity of youngsters and improve ability of reaction, judgment and attention. What’s more, it can also cultivate their spirit of courage and good mental quality to overcome difficulties and setbacks. In addition, in this way, students can learn the car driving techniques, some basic theoretical knowledge of automobile and improve their hands-on skills.
发动引擎，踩足油门，留下煞爽的英姿。驾驶卡丁车可以锻炼青少年的灵敏度，有效提高孩子的反应力、判断力和专注力，培养他们不畏艰苦、挫折，勇于拼搏的精神和良好的心理素质，还能普及汽车驾驶技术、汽车基础理论知识，提高他们的动手技能。
Effective field trip provides young people with a more valid, engaging and relevant way of learning. It encourages students to engage in various thoughtful exploration and collaborative negotiation in real-life situations. It exercises students' critical thinking and comprehensive ability, prompting them to reflect and take action as realistic problem solvers. All kinds of education are at work and becoming the strength of children to face the future.
