First Football Match of the Year 爱莎天河足球队 | 本学年首场球赛绽放光芒

First Football Match of the Year

Our football team have been practicing with great enthusiasm in September and October, and last week saw our first match!! The focus during training has been on each player being comfortable with the football and confident with their dribbling and passing skills. The training was evident yesterday with an outstanding team performance!

爱莎天河学校足球队经过九月和十月份的磨练，在上周迎来了第一场比赛。平日训练的重点是让每个球员都能对踢球形成肌肉记忆，提升运球和传球技巧，增强对足球运动的信心。学生们的努力在本次的比赛中得以呈现！

Excitement was in the air during the bus journey and warm-up exercises, with the ISA players focused and ready! Below are the pictures of the preparation:

比赛即将拉开帷幕，爱莎天河的球员们全神贯注，气势十足！学生们在乘车和热身练习时都怀着激动和兴奋的心情。

It was time for kick-off, with the starting players making their way onto the field. The game started at a frantic pace, with both teams eager and working hard to take control.

开球时间到，首发球员陆续进场。比赛在紧张激烈的节奏中开始，两队球员都卯足了劲，希望拿下这场比赛的胜利。

ISA Tianhe started very well, with Saif (Y4) showing some lovely dribbling skills and composed shooting to score the first goal. This relaxed the team and we started to play good passes and keep finding our space. The team captain Bryan (Y5) controlled the middle of the field with his tackling and passing range. The score was 2-0 at half time with Saif scoring both.

爱莎天河球队开场十分完美，四年级的的Saif施展了精湛的运球和射门技巧，踢进了全场第一个球。队员们渐入佳境完成了出色的传球。五年级的Bryan队长用他的拦截和传球控制了中场。半场结束时，比分定格在2：0，Saif踢进两球。

Some great performances from James Kim & Jayden as goalkeeper, with strong defending from Anika, Su, Jane, Cedar, Rebecca and Talia.

Charles, Cayden, Luke, Hugo, Jamie & Saif providing great energy in midfield and attacking positions. With Charlotte (Y5) scoring a great goal in the last minute to finish the game in style.
