In order to cultivate students' interest in reading, stimulate their imagination and enthusiasm for creation, ISA Tianhe had the honour of inviting Mr. Sun Rui, a famous author of children's literature, to come to the school to have face-to-face communication with students. The school aims to cultivate the students to be inquirers, knowledgeable, thinkers and communicators.

读书之乐乐陶陶，起弄明月霜天高。为培养同学们的阅读兴趣，激发同学们的想象力和创作热情，提升同学们的语文综合素养，培养爱莎学子积极探究、知识渊博、勤于思考、善于交流的学习者特质，爱莎天河有幸邀请到著名儿童文学作家孙睿老师来校和同学们进行面对面的交流分享，全校师生为之沸腾。

The event was held on October 27. All the primary students gathered to meet with Mr. Sun Rui and listened to his story behind the creation of book "No.9 Knight Street". The whole event had 2 parts: interactive session, and book signing session.

同学们期待已久的“作家面对面”活动在10月27日下午1点10分如约而至，小学部全体同学集聚一堂，聆听孙睿老师讲述《骑士街9号》创作背后的故事。整场活动分为分享交流和新书签售两部分。

Interactive Session

In the interactive session, from four aspects: curiosity, thinking, analysis and connection, Mr. Sun Rui talked about why we study animals, the uniqueness of "No.9 Knight Street" book, the current situation of animal protection, and the interesting points of animal science contained in the book. Students all enjoyed this event and asked questions during this session.

在分享环节，孙睿老师从好奇、思考、分析以及联系四个模块出发，依次用妙趣横生的语言动作和引人思考的问题向同学们讲述了人类为什么要研究动物，《骑士街9号》的独特之处，动物保护现状，以及分享了《骑士街9号》中包含的一些出人意料又非常有趣的动物科普知识点。同学们听得聚精会神、津津有味，回答问题积极踊跃，现场高潮迭起，掌声此起彼伏。

During the interactive session, Hanna (Year 5 student) asked that after they learned the ending of the story, is it still necessary to read the book? Mr. Sun explained that although the students know the endings of some stories from today’s sharing, which is still less than 3% of all contents. He said that knowing the process of reasoning is more meaningful. When reading the story, students must keep thinking, which is a great exercise for logical thinking. In addition, the reasoning stories also incorporate a lot of science and facts, which the students can learn from and expand their knowledge and cultivate their accumulation ability while reading the stories. At the end of this session, the students walked up to the stage to express respect and gratitude to Mr. Sun and Mr. Sun had high praise for ISA Tianhe students as well.

在交流环节，乐于思考的爱莎学子们纷纷提问，五年级的Hanna问道，我们了解了这个推理故事的结局之后，还有看原著的必要吗？孙老师听后很惊喜地回答，问得好！虽然今天大家已经知道了一些故事的结局，但这还不到所有结局的百分之三；此外，知道了结局很好，更重要的是要知道推理的过程，读故事的时候，要不断进行思考，打破惯性思维，抽丝剥茧地去解开谜题，这非常锻炼逻辑思维；另外，推理故事中还融入很多科普知识，能让同学们在读故事的同时扩展知识面、培养积累能力，读后总会有新收获。不止于结果，重在思考探索的过程，广泛涉猎，学无止境，乐在其中，这些不也是爱莎学子们一以贯之的学习准则吗？热衷于探究和思考的爱莎学子对因和孙睿老师产生如此强烈的共鸣而掌声不断、骄傲不已。最后，学生代表走上讲台向孙睿老师献上敬意和谢意，并与孙睿老师合影留念。

After the interactive session, the students were excited to get "No.9 Knight Street" series of books. The students received the signature of Mr. Sun Rui, and they were overjoyed. Many of them could not wait to start reading, some of them doing self-reading, some buddies reading with friends, teachers and classmates, their face overflowing with the joy of reading.

互动环节结束后，同学们排着队有序购买自己期盼已久的《骑士街九号》系列读物，现场购书的同学还可以获得孙睿老师的亲笔签名，拿到带有签名的新书的同学个个欣喜不已，许多迫不及待地开始阅读起来，或一个人，或三三两两，脸上洋溢着阅读的快乐。

Reading plays an essential role in growth, and the stories from books make children happy, fulfilled, and enriched. This face-to-face communication with author Mr. Sun Rui about creative writing, reasoning, and animal science has encouraged and inspired the students. Through this activity, the children will be more passionate about reading and creativity in their future learning life, and the future looks bright!

童年的阅读是成长路上一个个清晰的足迹，一个个故事使人快乐，使人充盈，使人丰富。这场和作家孙睿老师面对面关于创作、推理、动物科普等内容的对话使同学们备受鼓舞和启发，相信在今后的学习生活中，孩子们心里种下的关于阅读和创作的种子将会不断茁壮成长，花开可期！
