With the global integration of cultures and international exchanges, our country has proposed the initiative 'the Belt and Road Initiative' and continuously dispatched Chinese language teachers to countries along 'the Belt and Road Initiative' to support language learning and promote international cultural exchanges and cooperation.

2023年11月28日,荔湾爱莎迎来了15位尼泊尔中小学校长及教育工作者的考察访问。考察团应国家教育部语合中心“汉语桥”项目和南方学院邀请,到北京、深圳、广州展开为期9天8晚的友好访问。

在广州访问期间,考察团在荔湾爱莎学校与120多名广州市及荔湾区的教育工作者,就“国际理解教育”的发展、课程开设、本地的经验实践等方面进行了深入交流,共同探讨教育国际化的发展趋势,促进不同文化之间的理解与融合。广州市教育局市管一级调研员林平先生、荔湾区教育局党组副书记、二级调研员胡建雄先生、荔湾区委统战部(侨务局)区委统战部副部长、区侨务局局长金明娟女士、广东省人民对外友好协会副秘书长谢志根先生以及荔湾区政府办(区委外办)三级调研员林敏英女士出席了活动。

On November 28, 2023, ISA Liwan welcomed a delegation of 15 education professionals from Nepal for an exploratory visit. The delegation, invited by the National Education Ministry's Language Cooperation Center's 'Chinese Bridge' project and the Southern Academy, embarked on a 9-day, 8-night visit to Beijing, Shenzhen, and Guangzhou.


During their visit to Guangzhou, the delegation engaged in in-depth discussions with over 120 education professionals from Guangzhou and Liwan District at ISALiwan. They exchanged ideas on the development of 'international understanding education,' curriculum offerings, local experiential practices, and explored trends in educational internationalization, aiming to promote understanding and integration among diverse cultures.

在荔湾爱莎学生全英文的讲解和引领下,考察团先后在校园里体验了由荔湾区康有为纪念小学、詹天佑小学和爱莎荔湾学校学生呈现的中国茶艺、粤剧及书法文化,感受了一把中国中小学生在科技创新的激情。

在与学生们进行愉快的交流后,考察团表示这次考察进一步刷新了他们对中国教育现状的认知从荔湾爱莎的办学情况可以得知,中国教育国际化的发展已经到达世界领先水平。考察团成员也轮番表示希望能有更多时间跟荔湾爱莎及各荔湾区的学校有更深入、细致的交流。

趁着此次尼泊尔考察团的访问之际,荔湾区教育局也将考察团邀请到“国际理解教育现场会”活动。西关外国语学校贺小意校长、荔湾爱莎学校Patricia校长分别对各自学校在“国际理解教育”的建设和推动进行了精彩的展示。

Patricia校长着重强调“国际理解教育中,让学生成为全球之一员、国家之一员、社会之一员、自然之一员”是构建课程的4个重要维度。这四个关键维度的践行不仅让学生成为全球公民,也致力于塑造他们作为国家、社会和自然环境中的积极参与者。这种教育模式强调培养学生的全面素养,使他们能够更好地融入全球化的世界。

贺校长分享了西关外国语集团打造的“四维融合”国际理解教育体系,将中华传统文化与外来文化有机交融,并常态化推动国际交流,传递中国好声音。

尼泊尔考察团中的代表学校 Kathmandu Pragya Kunja School的Sunita Poudel Thapa校长表示过去12年来,汉语志愿者的积极贡献为尼泊尔提供了汉语言和中国传统文化的教育。如今,这种教育与交流已超越了语言教学或教科书内的范畴,缩小了两种文化之间的差距,对于塑造尼泊尔学生的全面发展和文化意识起着关键作用。


During the Nepalese delegation's visit, the Liwan District Education Bureau also invited them to the 'Liwan District International Understanding Education Conference.' Principal He Xiaoyi of Xiguan Foreign Language School and Principal Patricia of ISA Liwan respectively showcased the development and promotion of 'international understanding education' at their schools.

Principal Patricia emphasized four essential dimensions in building the curriculum: making students global citizens, national contributors, community members, and environmental stewards in 'international understanding education.'

Principal He shared that the Xiguan Foreign Language Group's creation of a 'Four-Dimensional Integration' international understanding education system, organically integrating Chinese traditional culture with foreign cultures while normalizing international exchanges and spreading positive voices from China.

——Sunita Poudel Thapa

Sunita Poudel Thapa, Principal of Kathmandu Pragya Kunja School, representing the Nepalese delegation, highlighted the positive contributions made by Chinese volunteers in imparting Chinese language and traditional culture to Nepal over the past 12 years, playing a crucial role in shaping comprehensive development and cultural awareness among Nepalese students.

Following the presentations, Ms. Du Xinxiu  shared insights on 'Regional Exploration of International Understanding Education' with Principal Zhu Qi of ISA Liwan, Principal Su Yuanxun of Sha Mian Primary School in Liwan District, Principal ADHIKARY of Euro School Hattigauda in Nepal, and Principal THAPALIYA of Elite Grand School.

朱奇校长强调,国际理解教育共享、共生、共担的理念十分重要,培养具有家国情怀、全球胜任力公民的宗旨与爱莎的办学理念一致;苏苑勋介绍了学校通过信息技术搭建课程平台的新探索,以及通过“双师课堂”和“云课堂”的方式;Adhikary则分享了Euro School Hattigauda如何将国际理解课程与当地尼泊尔文化和历史相融合;Thapaliya强调了只有通过前瞻性的思考和正确的价值观,结合人工智能和信息技术的发展,才能更好地解决国际理解教育所面临的问题。



本次活动为中外教育工作者提供了一个沉浸式探讨国际理解教育及教育国际化实施的机会,通过本地学校和尼泊尔学校的经验分享和主题交流,将“国际理解”这一深刻主题抽丝剥茧、层层递进,拓宽了视野,启发了思考。

Principal Zhu emphasized the concept and importance of shared, symbiotic, and joint responsibility in international understanding education. The aim to cultivate citizens with both a Chinese spirit and global competence aligns closely with ISA's educational philosophy. Principal Su introduced the school's novel exploration through information technology in constructing a curriculum platform, broadening students' horizons, and nurturing international talents through 'dual-teacher classrooms' and 'online classrooms' while disseminating traditional culture. Principal Adhikary shared how Euro School Hattigauda integrates international understanding curriculum with local Nepalese culture and history. Principal Thapaliya emphasized the necessity of forward-thinking and the right values, coupled with the development of artificial intelligence and information technology, to better address the challenges faced in international understanding education.



This event provided an immersive platform for domestic and foreign educators to discuss the implementation of international understanding education and educational internationalization, broadening perspectives and inspiring thoughts.



本次活动也为中国与尼泊尔学校间的交流架起了一座桥梁。活动开场荔湾爱莎中学生表演的自己作词作曲的合唱《青春启航》,以及詹天佑小学学生带来的粤剧表演《穆桂英》,让尼泊尔考察团真切感受到中国新一代在传统与创新上的自信与勃勃生机

活动中,胡建雄书记代表荔湾区教育局与考察团团长Shah rauniyar, Haris chandra先生交换了纪念品,希望荔湾这个广府文化的起源地与聚集地,与尼泊尔这个喜马拉雅山脉下的多文化花园,可以在“一带一路”倡议的推进下持续产生交集并迸发火花

The event also built a solid bridge for collaboration and communication between ISA Liwan and Nepalese schools. It allowed the Nepalese delegation to truly sense China's confidence in tradition and innovation.

During the event, Mr. Hu Jianxiong, representing the Liwan District Education Bureau, exchanged souvenirs with the delegation's leader, Mr. SHAH RAUNIYAR, HARIS CHANDRA, and expressed hope for the continuous development of Liwan, the birthplace and gathering place of Guangzhou culture, and Nepal, a diverse cultural garden beneath the Himalayas, under the 'the Belt and Road Initiative.'



ISA Liwan and Euro School Hattigauda exchanged souvenirs to establish sister schools, fostering long-term friendship and support, laying a solid foundation for mutual development.




上午的活动结束后,荔湾爱莎学生们陪同尼泊尔考察团一行,参观了永庆坊和陈家祠,继续向考察团展示广府历史的源远流长与文化内涵。尼泊尔教育工作者访华团的团长SHAH RAUNIYAR, HARIS CHANDRA表示,此次访华之旅让他们深刻地感受了中国文化,对中国有了更为立体的认识,他们期待着中尼两国继承和发扬友好传统,持之以恒地扩大交流合作,将中尼友谊推向新的高度

After the morning session, ISA Liwan students accompanied the Nepalese delegation to visit Yong qing Fang and Chen Family Temple, further showcasing the extensive history and cultural connotations of Guangzhou. SHAH RAUNIYAR, HARIS CHANDRA, the leader of the Nepalese educational visit to China, expressed their deep appreciation for experiencing Chinese culture during their visit.
