After the fervor of summer blooms and the serene beauty of autumn leaves, we welcome the warm sun of winter. To enhance communication between home and school, familiarize parents with the campus, and immerse them in the classroom to grasp our school's IB educational philosophy and the demeanor of our teachers and students, GIMSH hosted an Open Day. We cordially invited parents to gain a comprehensive, multi-faceted, and intimate understanding of their children's school life, joining us in a warm winter rendezvous to achieve our shared goal of collaborative education.

What are learning skills? The IB educational philosophy underscores the significance of skills in communication, social interaction, self-management, research, and critical thinking. Our CDAC Deputy Director Ms. Liu Ruyang, had delivered an engaging workshop for parents, demonstrating how to cultivate these essential skills throughout the students' developmental journey.

During this event, parents had the opportunity to observe teaching across various grade levels. In these classes, they witnessed firsthand how teachers employ the diverse and engaging QIPRA Education teaching cycle to facilitate heuristic, interactive, and inquiry-based learning. Each lesson intricately weaved together elements of question，inquiry，presentation，reflection，action, actively encouraging students to think critically, ask questions, and pursue independent inquiry. This approach empowered students to take charge of their own learning and lives, ensuring they grow and thrive in a joyful educational environment, much to the delight and fascination of the attending parents.

本次家长们观摩了不同年级的课堂教学。在课堂上，家长们亲眼目睹了老师们如何运用多元化的快普乐课堂教学模式进行启发式、互动式、探究式教学。每节课都将“疑”、“寻”、“释”、“悟”、“行”紧密相扣，积极引导学生主动思考、积极提问、自主探究，让学生成为生活和学习的主人，学生在快乐中收获成长，家长们也听得津津有味。

Furthermore, the school specially organized an exhibition showcasing students' academic achievements and artistic creations. Parents had the opportunity to appreciate their children's Service and Action (SA) projects, experimental reports, and creative designs, experiencing the students' talents in both academic and artistic realms. Many parents expressed that this exhibition allowed them to see their children's growth and progress within the school, filling them with anticipation for their future.
