The basketball match between ISA Tianhe and Benenden Bilingual School took place at Benenden on 16th January. It was the first basketball match since before covid and it was worth the wait!

1月16日，爱莎天河学校和广州博萃德学校联合举办了一场精彩绝伦的篮球友谊赛。这是本学期以来，两校之间举行的第一场篮球比赛，大家对此满怀期待。

We took 16 very excited students from Years 3-5 to Benenden Bilingual School for these friendly basketball matches. As our students represented our school with great manners, sportsmanship and sporting talent! Both teams displayed great enthusiasm and skill throughout the game.

爱莎天河学校共有16名学生参赛，他们分别来自三到五年级。学生们以优良的品质以及崇高的体育精神代表了我校风貌。双方队员们用出色的表现和精湛的球技，圆满完成了本次比赛。

ISA Tianhe V.S. Benenden

篮球友谊赛

The match started with ISA Tianhe showing their dominance on the court. They quickly took control of the game, scoring several baskets in the opening minutes. The solid defense of ISA Tianhe prevented Benenden from scoring, giving them an early lead. The first quarter ended with ISA Tianhe leading by a significant margin.

比赛伊始，爱莎天河队员们迅速地夺得了比赛的主动权。仅几分钟过去，他们就成功抢到篮板并得分。在比赛中，爱莎天河队的坚实防守令博萃德代表队无从得分。爱莎代表队在比赛初期便取得了明显的领先优势。第一节比赛结束时，爱莎天河队以显著的优势领先。

Our Year 3 team displayed great teamwork, game understanding and basketball skills to gain a strong victory with some superb individual performances. We had two Year 4/5 mixed teams who improved a lot, showing good game understanding and some great shooting to earn points for ISA!

三年级队员们运用默契的团队合作、出色的个人表现、对赛场的整体把握，加以熟练的篮球技巧，取得了比赛的胜利。四、五年级的学生们也有突飞猛进的进步，在比赛中他们掌握赛场节奏，以出色的投篮技巧为学校赢得分数。

In the subsequent quarters, both teams showcased their basketball skills and teamwork. Benenden fought hard, but ISA Tianhe defense remained solid and ISA extended their lead with consistent scoring and strong defensive plays. The players from both teams exhibited excellent sportsmanship and played with great intensity.

在接下来的几节比赛中，双方队员默契配合，熟练地运用篮球技巧和战术。博萃德代表队的队员们奋起直追，但爱莎天河代表队的防守依然坚如磐石。爱莎代表队在整场比赛中持续得分，运用防守技巧，占领了比赛的上风。赛中双方队员对比赛的全身心投入，展现出了卓越的体育精神。

比赛在双方队员的奋力拼搏中圆满落幕，向所有参赛的队员致以最热烈的祝贺，期待未来迎接更多的比赛。
