On February 19, children from I-EP and IHP have returned to the school for homework submission and the registration of the new semester. Our students were very excited to meet their familiar teachers and classmates after a month's absence. Therefore, they had a lot of things want to share with each other, and Huali Building was bustling again!

春风十里，不如校园有你。2月19日，华外创新融合部的孩子们均已收拾好心情，陆续回到了学校，进行新学期的注册报到和作业提交。久别重逢，甚是兴奋，回到阔别一个月的教室，见到了熟悉的老师和同学，孩子们心中自然有无数的话想要分享，华鲤堂又恢复了往日生机勃勃的景象。

喜迎开学

Festive decorations, cute dolls, delicious snacks, surprise gifts and so on. Teachers have decorated the classroom in advance to welcome the children back to school. Due to their patience, various elements of good symbolism could be seen everywhere in the whole Huali Building, and every classroom was full of strong atmosphere of the New Year.

喜气洋洋的环创和装饰，摆放整齐的玩偶与零食，充满惊喜的开学大礼包...新年新气象，老师们提前为课室换上了“新装”，迎接孩子们回校。在老师们的精心布置下，华鲤堂随处可见各种美好寓意的元素，每间教室都是浓浓的年味。

A new semester carries the new hopes and new dreams. On February 20, we ushered in the first day of the 2024 spring term. On this day, the children kicked off the new semester with a variety of festive activities. May every child be able to start a new round of learning with a more energetic spirit in this warm environment.

新的学期，开启新的希望，新的征程，承载新的梦想。2月20日，我们迎来了2024年春季学期的第一天。在这一天里，孩子们以各种仪式感满满的游戏活动拉开了新学期的序幕。时光恰好，初春相见，愿每一个孩子都能在这温馨有爱的环境里，以更饱满的精神状态开启新一轮的学习。

手写心愿

At the beginning of the semester, each student would receive a special envelopes from Huawai, including a cover, a preface and three sheets of paper. Students wrote down their wishes, goals, plans, as well as blessings and thanksgiving to their families for the new year, so as to embrace the new journey. We hope that every wish we pray in the spring will come true.

在学期的起点，每位同学都会收到来自华外的特制春笺一套，包括封套、序言与三张笺纸。同学们在笺纸上认真写下新一年的心愿目标、计划实施以及对家人的祝福与感恩，以此来迎接全新征程。期待大家在春天里播种的每一个愿望都能够破土而出。

醒狮送福

We also invited a Lion Dance Team to celebrate the New Year with all the students and teachers. With the sound of gongs and drums, the two lions entered each classroom to distribute sweets and biscuits, send blessings and interact with each other. The arrival of the lions brought cheers and laughter to the children and allowed them to experience the unique charm of our traditional culture.

踏着春节的尾巴，我们还特邀醒狮队与全体师生一起恭贺新岁。随着“咚咚隆咚锵”锣鼓齐鸣，两头醒狮还进入到各班课室，给大家派糖果、分饼干、送祝福、亲密互动。醒狮的到来让孩子们欢呼雀跃，也让他们在欢声笑语中感受到传统文化的独特魅力。

财神驾到

With the festive and cheerful music, Mr. Wang from I-EP was dressed up as the God of Fortune, came to each class of I-EP, and gave the children surprises for the beginning of the new term with our principals. With the blessing of the God of Fortune, we believe we will be invincible and achieve everything we want in the Year of the Dragon!

财神到，齐欢笑，伴随着喜庆、欢快的音乐，来自I-EP的王老师化身财神爷分别空降到I-EP各个班级，与校长们一起为孩子们送上开学惊喜。有了财神爷的祝福，相信同学们在龙年里定能元气满满，所向披靡，所愿皆所成！

首次集会

On the first day of the new term, the students and teachers from IHP, gathered in the Show Theatre for the first assembly of this semester. Everyone was full of confidence, passion, energy and got ready.

用榜样的力量激励前行，开学第一天，创新融合部IHP的师生们齐聚秀丽剧院，共同参与本学期的第一次集会。大家满怀信心，斗志昂扬，精神饱满，整装待发。

Camilla, our student from G11, kicked off the ceremony with a wonderful dance performance, which has instantly lit up the atmosphere of the whole audiences. The youthful dance not only showed the versatility of IHP students, but also conveyed our excitement for the new semester.

来自十一年级的何晓彤同学，以精彩的舞蹈表演开场，瞬间点燃了全场气氛。充满青春气息的舞蹈演出，不仅展现出了IHP学子的多才多艺，更传递出大家对新学期的憧憬和期待。

Ms. Huang Yan, the vice principal of Huaiwai, delivered a speech. Taking the Chinese New Year film "You only live once" as an example, she gave students wishes for the new term, encouraging them to step out of their comfort zones, make changes, work hard, be persistent and not to be afraid of failing.

华外总校副校长兼创新融合部校长黄彦女士发表主题演讲。她以春节电影《热辣滚烫》为例，为同学们送上了新学期寄语，勉励孩子们在新的一年里，要跳出舒适圈，做出改变，刻苦努力，持之以恒，同时不要害怕失败。

The new teachers from IHP who are young, professional and passionate, came to the stage to say hello to the students. After listening to their great introductions, are you looking forward to attending their classes?

年轻专业，热情满满，IHP的新老师走上了舞台，来跟同学们打招呼了。听了老师们的自我介绍，大家是否已经满怀期待想要上他们的课了呢。

Mr. Guo Shijie, the head of IHP, also delivered a speech and put forward the requirements of the new semester to the students on the stage. A new year, a new hope, although work is difficult, as long as we never give up, there will be success in one day, let's welcome the new beginning with the fighting spirits.

IHP项目负责人郭仕杰先生上台致辞，并向同学们提出了新学期的要求。新的一年，新的展望，路虽远，行则将至，事虽难，做则必成，让我们以奋斗之姿迎接新的开始。

Let's applaud the excellence and the role models. At the end of the assembly, Ms. Chen announced the list of commendations for the first semester of 2023-2024. We hope that all of us will take the achievements as motivation to move forward, and keep working hard to climb to the next peak in the new term.

On the morning of February 20, all the teachers and students of Huawai have gathered in the school playground and took part in the opening ceremony of this spring semester with joy and laughter. Spring is the beginning and hope. When the warm spring breeze blows us again, we embrace the spring, and embrace the brand new future.
