•Patricia holds an MA in Education from the University of Sunderland and is currently pursuing her second master’s in leadership and management through the University of Bath. She has had over 20 years of experience in IB schools in Singapore, China and the United States.

•Patricia has been an IB Workshop Leader, Schools Consult ant and Site Visit Team Member for over 8 years. She is also an IBEN member. She believes that each child is unique, and high qualify education can unleash their potential. 

•Patricia has been in a leadership role for more than six years. As a school leader, she has worked with people from diverse cultural backgrounds and has extensive experience in leading in a multicultural educational context.

•During her time working in the US, Singapore and China, Patricia led innovation in curriculum design and developed an in - depth understanding of the needs of teachers in implementing IB curriculum and became immersed with the Western and Eastern National Curricula.

• Jeremiah is the Deputy Principal of Primary and PYP Coordinator at ISA Liwan, he has 17 years of teaching and school leadership experience and holds a Bachelor’ s degree in Education from Nanyang Technological University, a Master’ s degree in Cross-cultural Communication from the University of Sydney and a Certificate in School Management and Leadership from Harvard Graduate School of Education.

• As an educator, he is committed to igniting that curiosity within our students so that they become inquirers and independent learners.

• Michelle holds a certificate upon completion for International Professional qualification for school leadership by UCL. She has 25 years of teaching experience in China and the United States. She led an International school to achieve the PYP authorization of the earliest batch of schools in the mainland of China. She has been an IB workshop leader, school visiting team member and school consultant for 10 years.

• She believes that a quality education opens up endless possibilities for children and ultimately develops them into active lifelong learners who can make a difference.

• With a rich and diverse career spanning 15 years, Tim has had the privilege of working in various public and private schools across Australia gaining valuable experience in both classroom teaching and management positions.

• In 2017, Tim embarked on his journey with ISA, working across all grade levels in the primary programme and taking on leadership responsibilities, serving as a grade coordinator and subject coordinator.

• A dedicated scholar, he is currently pursuing his PhD at James Cook University in Australia. His research focuses on international school policies and leadership, with a particular emphasis on international schools in China.

• Maggie received her B.Ed from the University of Stellenbosch in South Africa, after which she worked as an ECE and Primary teacher in the United Kingdom. When she returned to South Africa, she started her own Weddings and Events business before becoming a Fundraising Coordinator.

• She was offered the opportunity to establish and coordinate a new year level at a school and embraced the opportunity to return to an educational setting. She taught children ages 4-5 for a few years before embarking on her journey to China. She taught K4 and Year 1 in Shanghai, in addition to leading her team in both Year levels, during her ten years there.

• She is a believer of learning through play and strives to finds ways of teaching children new concepts without them even realizing that they are learning!

• Nicole graduated from the Education University of Hong Kong, majoring in Curriculum, Teaching and Assessment, and obtained the PGDE PYP (Chinese) teaching Certificate from the University of Hong Kong.

• Nicole is a registered teacher in Hong Kong. With 6 years of education experience, she has worked in an international school in Hong Kong for 3 years and an IB school in Guangzhou for another 3 years.

• As the Chinese Homeroom Teacher and Head of Grade at a reputable IB School, she was involved in the teaching and research of the Chinese Curriculum and the Unit of Enquiry (UOI) course.

• Shirley has a bachelor’ s degree in Primary and Junior Education from York University as well as a bachelor’ s degree in Early Childhood Education from Ryerson University.

• Shirley has four years of teaching experience at the primary level as an English Homeroom teacher in China. She has also spent a number of years as a homeroom teacher at a private IB school in Canada. There she taught grades ranging from Junior Kindergartens to Grade 5 in various subjects.

• She believes that in order for students to succeed and progress, communication and teamwork between all parties plays a vital role. She hopes to have a strong relationship with the students, parents, and community!

• Mr. Roxas has 10 years of teaching experience in both domestic and international schools, including 6 years’ teaching as a Chinese homeroom teacher in IB schools and 2 years’ teaching of Chinese for foreign students in Nigeria.

• He has won honors such as Nanhai District Excellent Class Teacher, Nanhai District Excellent Teacher, Lishui Town Third Famous Teacher, and Third Prize of the International Class Designing Competition.

• In teaching, he can always get along well with the students. He is not only a teacher of the students, but also a friend for them. Roxas feels that "teaching" and "education" are linked, hence he is continuously concerned with his students' learning, particularly their mental development.

• Michael is from Manchester, UK and has been teaching for over 13 years. Michael has grown adaptive in his teaching and life as a result of his experience working and travelling in so many places and engaging with a varied range of individuals.

• During his time in China, Michael has taught students aged 2 up to the age of 18. Michael's experience also covers working as an educational manager and teacher trainer, helping to train and develop over 20 teachers during his time in his previous roles.He holds a Diploma in Teaching English as a Second Language and a Diploma in English Language Teaching Management from Trinity College London.

• He recently completed his PGCE (Post graduate Certificate in  Education) from the University of Cumbria. Having experience of working and traveling in so many countries and working with a diverse range of people, Michael has become adaptable in his teaching and his life.

• Sherry received her bachelor's degree from Shanghai International Studies University. Sherry has taught PYP UOI and CNC Chinese, as well as Mandarin for non-native speakers, bilingual math, P4C (Philosophy for Children), and has been a homeroom and liaison between the school and parents.

• Sherry holds IB related certificates, CAT1, CAT2, CAT3 and SAPERE Level1 Foundation Course in P4C.

• She was awarded the "New Talented Teacher" at an international school in Zhejiang Province.

• Kye-Ling graduated from University of Technology Sydney, Australia with a double degree in Bachelor of Education (Primary) and Bachelor of Arts in International Studies. As part of the International Studies degree, she attended one year of in-country study at Zhejiang University, Hangzhou.

• Kye-Ling was born in Canada, raised in Australia, and attended primary, secondary, and higher schools in Canada, Australia, Malaysia, and China.

• She has over 7 years of teaching experience as an Australian bilingual teacher and a primary homeroom teacher in one of the four bilingual government schools in NSW.

• Hong has a Master of Education degree from the Department of Education at New Jersey College and is honored to join the ISA Liwan family in July 2022. For the past 11 years, she has worked as a Chinese teacher in three international schools. The international working environment not only allows her to better understand multiculturalism, but also broadens her educational horizons, which will help her guide ISA students to become active, inquiring, knowledgeable, thoughtful and open-minded global citizens.

• She believes that a qualified teacher should not only help students succeed academically, but also guide students to become positive, adventurous, and good communicators in their daily campus life.

• Her purpose is to maintain pleasant interactions with children and parents in order to achieve personalised learning objectives.

• Originally from Toronto, Canada, Mr. Ezrin is a committed lifelong learner who is always pursuing new learning opportunities; inquiry and reflection energize and inspire his teaching practice.

• After completing his Bachelor of Education at the University of Toronto, Mr. Ezrin went on to teach at private and international schools in Taipei and Shenzhen. While pursuing his Master of Education from the University of Victoria, Mr. Ezrin deepened his knowledge and practice of language and literacy instruction.

• This school year, Mr. Ezrin is excited to build a caring, inclusive classroom community of engaged, empowered learners who take agency and work collaboratively.

• Obtained a Master’ s degree in Teaching Chinese to Speakers of Other Languages from Chong Qing University.

• She has been engaged in teaching Chinese as an international language for 7 years in China, South Korea, the United States and France, and she led her students to win the first and second prizes in the National Chinese and Science Competition in the USA, and the second prize, the best style award in the French Chinese Bridge Competition. She has received Outstanding Teacher Awards in the United States and France, as well as the College Board's Special Honour Award in the United States.

• Maggie has been an IB teacher for over 7 years and is passionate about teaching through inquiry. She is an experienced math and English teacher and holds a degree in English.

• She believes that math should be interactive and students should be given agency to find the answers for themselves. She is skilled at assisting students at all levels and will adapt the teaching environment to meet the students’learning needs.

• Will graduated from the Department of education of Guangzhou University, and currently studying for a Master’ s degree in education and international Chinese. He is a handcraft enthusiast, origami, embroidery, and sailing ship making are all my favorite.

• In the past 18 years, he has worked in well-known primary and secondary schools. During this period, he also served as a member of teaching and research group and a young pioneer counselor, and guided many students to participate in provincial and municipal competitions and obtain excellent results. Later, he served as a Chinese teacher in IB school, guiding students in all subjects.

• In my career, he firmly believes that cultivating students’ mathematical thinking and guiding them to think independently is significant for them to maintain their curiosity about the world and become lifelong learners.

• Brett studied his bachelor’ s degree through Swinburne University majoring in early childhood. He is Australian and has been teaching for over 12 years, 6 years in China teaching English, and 6 years teaching in Australia.

• Brett genuinely loves working with young students! He is honoured to embrace the task of assisting all children in making progress in all facets of their development— academic, social, language, and physical health. In order to foster this growth in a joyful, positive environment,he works to build a community of learners in each classroom he is part of.

• Jeffrey brings more than 20 years of educational experience to the ISA Liwan primary years program. During his career, he has instructed from the Primary years level to university, as well as being a consultant and contractor on government contracts in the United States, Asia, and the middle East.

• Jeffrey received his BS in Decision Sciences and Management Information Systems from George Mason University and has continued his pursuit as a lifelong learner earning a MA in Teaching, Postgraduate Certification of Education, United States DoD certifications, and is accredited by the Commission on English Language and certified by the US Department of Education.

• Jeffrey believes there are more similarities than differences in the world and that education is an essential catalyst to bringing about understanding, cooperation, and Global-Mindedness.

• As the Chinese Language Associate Coordinator of ISA Tianhe School, Tricia brings 10 years of education experience to our school. Tricia holds a Bachelor of Arts degree, and she has IB Professional Training Certificate and Chinese Language Teacher Certificate.

• She became a founding member of ISA Tianhe International School of Guangzhou in 2015. Tricia has been exploring ways to integrate IB concepts with indigenous Chinese local language teaching, develop and integrate school-based teaching materials. She has shared her teaching cases and teaching experiences on many international education forums.

• In teaching, Tricia follows the philosophy of learning through fun while teaching through fun, respecting students' individuality, and teaching them in accordance with their aptitude.

• Dan LaSpina was born and raised in Chicago, in the heart of the USA. He has a Bachelor of Arts in management, minor in human resources. After discovering his love for education, he earned a teaching English as a foreign language certification, then a postgraduate degree of education and finally a Master of Arts in educational leadership and change. He has worked in three IB schools and received three unique IB certifications.

• After working many years as a homeroom teacher, he decided to turn his focus to teaching STEM, and through the University of San Diego, earned a STEM teaching for tomorrow’ s innovators certificate. After teaching for 13 years, he hopes to foster creativity and develop every student into an innovator.

• Adheesh is the Primary PSPE Teacher at ISA Liwan, he has worked in four countries including Japan, United Arab Emirates, South Africa and China, his educational background includes a Bachelor of Sport Science, a Post Graduate Certificate of Education (PGCE) from the University of Kwa Zulu Natal and a teaching license from South African Council of Education.

• Currently residing in China for over 4 years, Adheesh has over 14 years of teaching experience. It is his passion to promote health and fitness while providing a safe environment.

• It is his belief that learners should be given the opportunity to grow mentally and physically, and PE is in the unique position to provide this holistic development. Providing the appropriate platform is fundamental in a PE lesson. Having many years of teaching experience in different countries, involvement with various cultures, institutions and students, these experiences has made him flexible and adaptable as an educator.

• Enda teaches physical education at ISA International Liwan Primary School. He earned a degree in Physical Education from Guangzhou Sport University.

• Enda guided China to third place in the 2017 AFL Australian Cup as a member of China's Australian Football National Team. Enda possesses rugby, swimming, tennis, and Gaelic football strengths, as well as more than ten years of training and education expertise.

• He fosters a love of athletics and pushes students to find their athletic potential and embrace a healthy lifestyle through his dynamic teaching style.

• Tiffany is the Primary Art Instructor at ISA Liwan. She is a graduate of South China Normal University with a concentration in Fine Arts, Printmaking. She has five years of experience teaching art in IB international institutions, including the National Curriculum for Art, the IB Curriculum MYP, and the PYP for Visual arts subjects. She was the subject head for visual arts and helped devise the school's visual arts curriculum. Tiffany was named "Outstanding Teacher" at her school for two consecutive years, she has experience instructing students in grades 1 through 9, and she has guided students to victory in art competitions. 

•As an art educator, Tiffany believes that art is a wonderful method for children to express themselves and experience life. In her art classes, she encourages students to hone their artistic language and develop their creativity through artistic expression.

• Darryl holds a Bachelor of Teaching from Deakin University and has 7 years experience specializing in music and drama. He has spent most of his career as a professional actor performing in national touring productions such as ‘Les Miserables’ , ‘Chess’ , ‘Jesus Christ Superstar’ and toured with Sarah Brightman in the Australasian tour of ‘The music of Andrew Lloyd Webber’ .

• A dynamic performer and multi-instrumentalist, he also co-created the global operatic sensation ‘The Three Waiters’ setting up offices in Sydney, London and New York. Darryl looks forward to teaching music and working closely with the arts teachers in creating a vibrant and joyful arts experience for all students.

• Gaga received his bachelor's degree in choreography from Guangdong Ocean University's Zhongge School of Arts. He is a member of the Chinese Children's Song and Dance Society, the China Children's Music Society, and the Beijing Dance Association, as well as one of China's first professional Orff certified teachers. Gaga has been teaching dance for over 12 years. He was the Art Director of a well-known International School in Beijing for ten years and has extensive experience guiding students to study and participate in exchanges overseas.

• In 2016, he was awarded the title of “Outstanding Teacher“ in Shunyi, Beijing. In 2021, he served as the director of the Youth Palace of an International School in Changsha. His original dance work “Pinch a Big Winter Olympics Doll” won the first prize in the Beijing Primary and Secondary School Art Competition and the first prize of the original group dance of the primary school group of the group program of the 12th Student Art Festival; The original drama “Crossing the River” won the first prize of the group program of the 21st Beijing Student Art Festival.

• She has extensive expertise teaching students English listening, speaking, reading, and writing skills. Her teaching style is geared to all levels of students, with the goal of inspiring them to uncover their own unique skills and potential.

• As a teacher, she enjoys playing an active role in guiding and witnessing the growth of each student. Her enthusiasm lies in nurturing and educating students' personal qualities, interests, and hobbies. She takes great care of her students and is always patient and sympathetic towards them.

• Jade has years of experience in interpretation and translation, administration and management in education centres. She holds a Master of Commerce from the University of Queensland and a dual bachelor’ s degree in management and English from Guangdong University of Foreign Studies.

• With experience of working and studying in Australia and China, she has highly developed adaptability, professional communication and interpersonal skills framed by a culturally appropriate approach.

•17 years of experience in international education, including 11 years of library experience in the k-12 school library. Successfully served in various positions at the International School of Ulaanbaatar, including Community Liaison Coordinator, and Primary Library Specialist.
