National Economics Challenge

NEC全美经济学挑战 (National Economics Challenge)是美国高中生经济学竞赛，由美国经济教育学会 (Council for Economic Education)举办, 于2000年发起, 至今举办超过20届, 是极具影响力的中学生经济学学术活动。全球每年有超过15,000名学生受邀参与,是未来政商财经精英的摇篮。现已覆盖国内50多个城市、200余所学校, 是财商经学子一年一度的学术盛事, 众多学生已被哈佛、耶鲁、牛津、剑桥等世界一流名校录取, 并获得华尔街知名金融机构广泛认可。每年的全球站在纽约华尔街举行, 巅峰对决由CNBC全程直播。NEC全美经济学挑战旨在激发学生对经济学知识的兴趣、培养解决问题的能力、建立批判性思维习惯，以其为载体的NEC学术委员会旨在加强经济学教师之间的联系，为全国的经济学教师们提供交流的平台。

The National Economics Challenge (NEC) is the country’s only economics competition of its kind for high school students. It tests micro and macroeconomic principles as well as knowledge of the world economy.  

This motivating and fun team learning experience begins with competitions at the state level. The winning team from each state moves on to the National Semi-Finals from which the top-scoring teams advance to compete for the National Title. This event is held annually in New York City in the spring.
