我觉得AIC给我提供了一个多元包容的环境，也让我有机会与来自世界各地的同学们一起学习，分享独特的认知与见解。同时，AIC鼓励学生们自主组织不同的活动，这不仅培养了我的想象力，也锻炼我的策划能力。

我其实也不是一个可以长时间久坐学习的人哈哈，游戏，篮球和钢琴可以说是我放松解压的方式吧。只要做好时间管理，适度放松可以让学习更加专注。而我控制自己不要过度沉迷的方式就是将游戏下载在爷爷的手机里，这样一来，我就能保证我在学习期间充分学习，打游戏期间享受乐趣。而对篮球的兴趣源于10年级一次偶然被挑选参加的篮球比赛，我着迷于篮球所讲究的配合，合作以及体现的青春热血。为了让更多同学感受到篮球的魅力，我和打篮球贼棒的舍友Alice举办了篮球CAS，这充分培养了我的领导力。作为地地道道的广州人，我还和小伙伴Wendy同学举办了粤潮社，教同学们有趣的粤语词汇句子，粤语经典歌曲，去永庆坊当小导游等。同时，我很荣幸成为Dragon的house leader，与我们的Dragon“全明星阵容”一起参加运动会的篮球项目。同时，在2021年也很荣幸被选为副会长，与学生会的小伙伴们一起举办了Orientation Day，让新同学们更好地熟悉，融入AIC。这些经历培育了我的责任感，让我学会了有效沟通和虚心接纳不同意见的重要性，也让我更加有原则有条理。同时，也向大学展现了更加全面的我。

I am not a person who can sit and study patiently for a long time. Games, basketball and piano can be said to be my way to relax and decompress. As long as time management is done well, moderate relaxation can make learning more focused. The way I can control myself not to indulge too much is to download and play some games using my grandfather's mobile phone. In this way, I can ensure I can fully focus on my study and have fun during game playing. My interest in basketball comes from a basketball game in Grade 10.  I am fascinated by the cooperation, cooperation and youth embodied in basketball. In order to let more students to feel the charm of basketball, I held a basketball CAS with my roommate Alice, who is a very good basketball player, which fully cultivated my leadership. As a native of Guangzhou, I also organized a Cantonese tide club with my little friend Wendy, to teach students interesting Cantonese words and sentences, Cantonese classic songs, and to be a small guide in Yongqing square. At the same time, I am honored to be dragon's house leader and join our dragon "All Star basketball team". At the same time, in 2021, I was also honored to be elected as the vice president, and held orientation day together with the partners of the student union, so that new students can better understand and integrate into AIC. These experiences have cultivated my sense of responsibility, taught me the importance of effective communication and open-minded acceptance of different opinions, and also made me more principled and organized. At the same time, it also shows a more comprehensive me to the University.

在DP2的下学期，我们举行了TOK 的展览，展览要求我们用3个生活中的物体来回答哲学问题，这是我从来没有想到的思考问题的方式。而我所选择的问题是Are some things unknowable（有什么东西是无法被知道的）。一开始我的思维是十分局限的，我的脑海中浮现的都是些抽象的物体：比如黑洞，宇宙等等，我无法跳脱出常规思维的固定边框。但在与我的TOK老师以及其他不同学科老师的交流中，我的思维慢慢扩散开来，每个人独立的观点都成为了我思考的灵感。最后，我使用了拿破仑的画像，人类进化图以及一张展示狗和人类眼中的世界的图片，分别从历史的偏见和引导性，科学与宗教神学的非互相排斥性，人类的认知偏差及感知偏差这三个方面回答了此问题。这段经历于我而言是深刻难忘的，它不仅让我意识到世界上每件物体都有其存在的意义，更是让我感受到了有效的交流对思维扩散的重要性。

In the second semester of DP2, we held an exhibition of TOK which required us to answer philosophical questions with three objects in life, and it inspired me with a new way of thinking that I never thought of. The question I chose was something“unknowable”. At the beginning, my thinking was very limited. All that came to my mind were abstract objects: such as black holes, the universe, etc. I couldn't jump out of the fixed frame of conventional thinking. However, in the communication with my TOK teacher and other teachers of different disciplines, my thinking slowly spread, and everyone's independent views became the inspiration for my thinking. Finally, I used the portrait of Napoleon, the map of human evolution, and a picture showing the world in the eyes of dogs and humans to answer this question from three aspects: historical prejudice and guidance, the non-mutual exclusion of science and religious theology, and human cognitive bias and perceptual bias. This experience is unforgettable to me. It not only makes me realize that every object in the world has its meaning of existence, but also makes me feel the importance of effective communication to the diffusion of thinking.

我申请的专业涵盖经济金融与管理，以及管理分析（business analysis）。很高兴拿到了我最梦寐以求的两个专业的offer， 一个是伦敦政治经济学院(LSE)的工商管理专业（management），第二个是香港大学与英属哥伦比亚大学的双学位（business and commerce）。我对商科的兴趣来源于10年级参加的一个全球青年演讲和论文挑战赛。我探究了疫情时代对餐饮行业的影响，并获得了top 25%的好成绩。这次经历可以说是激发了我对经济，商业管理的浓厚兴趣，并为我后续的学习打下了良好的基础。

The majors I applied for is cover economics, finance, and management, as well as business analysis. I am very glad to have obtained two professional offers that I have always dreamed of. One is management from the London School of Economics (LSE) and the other is business and Commerce from the University of Hong Kong and the University of British Columbia. My interest in business comes from a global youth speech and thesis challenge in Grade 10. I explored the impact of the epidemic era on the catering industry, and achieved top 25%. This experience can be said to have stimulated my strong interest in economics and business management, and laid a good foundation for my follow-up study.

我认为在高一就应该着手准备好雅思托福这些，在高二就应该要过语言关了。学习的乐趣往往在于找到每一科的共通点，比如就我个人而言，经济跟Business中的共通点，语言科目的共通点，数学和物理的联系都是有迹可循的。同时，时间管理能力是十分重要的。我会列一个清单，上面按照重要和紧急程度排好了顺序，我会以一星期为一个时间段设定好任务，完成任务后拿笔划掉的成就感是提高我继续实现目标的动力。

I think we should prepare for IELTS and TOEFL in senior one, and pass the language test in senior two. The fun of learning often lies in finding the common ground of each subject. For example, personally, the common ground between economics and business, the common ground between language subjects, and the connection between mathematics and physics are traceable. At the same time, time management ability is very important. I will make a list, which is arranged in order of importance and urgency. I will set tasks for a period of one week. The sense of achievement after completing tasks is the driving force to improve my ability to continue to achieve goals.

British documents attach great importance to academic interest and understanding, so I think we should read more extracurricular books related to our major before applying, and it is very good to reflect our views on this major. In North America, all-round development and extracurricular activities are more important, it is very important to show leadership and organization. 我最最不能忘的活动便是两次ASDAN的商赛经历。第一次区域赛时，我与我的朋友们（Alice Chen，Wendy，Stephanie，Evangeline，Addy，Louis，Usha）一起“组建了” Rekindle公司，三天里群策群力，互帮互助，互相激励，决定了智能袜子作为我们的产品，建造了基础的模型，定下我们的销售价格，推销方式，目标受众，最终在颁奖时揽获了各大奖项，最终欣喜地获得了区域赛的铜奖，直接晋级了全国（WYEF）总决赛。在这次总决赛中，我与（Gary，Zuni，Addy，Louis，Ｗendy）延续了Rekindle公司的“辉煌” 再次发挥我们的所长，在165支队伍中脱颖而出，再次获得了铜奖，位于15名！这两段经历不仅让我将商业理论知识应用到实战中，更是加深了我们彼此的友谊。后来，经过6个月的努力，我在LNEMSS中发表了探究小米营销策略，公司结构以及融资方式的学术论文，不仅向大学展现了我对专业的热情和坚持，也为我后续在写Extended essay时垫下了很好的基础。

The most unforgettable activity for me is the experience of two asdan business competitions. During the first regional competition, my friends (Alice Chen, Wendy, Stephanie, Evangeline, Addy, Louis, usha) and I jointly "set up" rekindle company. In three days, we worked together, helped each other, and encouraged each other. We decided to take smart socks as our product, built a basic model, set our sales price, marketing method, and target audience, and finally won major awards at the awards, Finally, I was delighted to win the bronze medal of the regional competition and directly advanced to the national (wyef) finals. In this finals, Gary, Zuni, Addy, Louis, Wendy and I (Gary, Zuni, Wendy) continued the "brilliance" of rekindle company, gave full play to our strengths again, stood out among 165 teams, and won the bronze award again, ranking No. 15! These two experiences not only enabled me to apply my business theory knowledge to actual combat, but also deepened our friendship. Later, after six months of efforts, I published an academic paper on Xiaomi's marketing strategy, corporate structure and financing methods in lnemss, which not only showed my enthusiasm and persistence to the University, but also laid a good foundation for me to write extended essay.

申请季真是一个充满期待和焦虑的时期，都说申请是“玄学“，邮箱收到的100封邮件里可能只有3封是offer哈哈。但每每邮箱的小红点弹出来时，心里还是会止不住的期待和兴奋。对我而言， 申请季里最动听的声音莫过于新来邮件时邮箱的提示音了。我收获的第一封offer是香港大学的eco&finance，犹记得，在2021年即将结束的前两天（12.30），我已经做好了2021年收获空空的准备，期间我还经历了自我怀疑的时期，学会心理调节是申请季必备的。但在点开邮件看到“update on your application”时，我一瞬间被极度兴奋和紧张充斥，绿色的“accept” 让我瞬间感受激动得泪崩，那一刻，那段时间的焦虑一消而散。可以说，荣获女神学院LSE发来的offer时是我申请季最最激动的时候吧，这里建议同学们在择校和选择专业时，除了检查对应的成绩要求，还要看看梦校强调对申请人的期许，比如强调极强的数学和逻辑分析能力，或者与人社交交流能力。这时，我们就可以根据不同的要求选择活动，表现自己的能力，向梦校展现自己的竞争力。我这次申请选择了DIY，没有在外面找机构帮忙，在申请中一步步成长了许多。真的十分感激我的朋友们老师们和亲人们对我的肯定鼓励和意见，同时很很很很感谢我可爱的学姐们Lishi和Joanne在申请季对我的巨大帮助。最最感激的人就是给予我申请意见，为我审批文书为我点明方向的升学老师们。呜呜.....

Every time the red dot on the mailbox pops up, I get so excited. For me, the most beautiful sound in the application season is the prompt tone in the mailbox when I receive new emails. The first offer I received was eco&finance of the University of Hong Kong. I still remember on the 30th 2021, I was ready to reap the empty harvest in 2021. During this time, I also experienced a period of self doubt. Learning psychological adjustment is necessary for the application season. However, when I opened the email and saw "update on your application", I was instantly filled with extreme excitement and tension. The green "accept" made me burst into tears. At that moment, the anxiety of that time disappeared. It can be said that winning the offer from LSE of Goddess college was the most exciting time of my application season. Here, it is suggested that when choosing a school and a major, students should not only check the corresponding performance requirements, but also look at the dream school's expectations for the applicant, such as strong mathematical and logical analysis skills, or social communication skills. At this time, we can choose activities according to different requirements, express our ability and show our competitiveness to the dream school. I chose DIY for this application. I didn't ask for help from institutions outside. I grew a lot step by step in my application. I am really grateful to my friends, teachers and relatives for their affirmation, encouragement and opinions. At the same time, I am very grateful to my lovely schoolsisters Lishi and Joanne for their great help to me during the application season. The most grateful people are the teachers who give me application opinions, give me approval documents and point out my direction.

我在挑选学校时会先看我所选专业在此学校的专业度。同时，作为商科人，学校能为我提供的实习coor的机会，科研research的资源都是我十分看重的。同时，我后续想要发展的方向也是我选择学校时会考虑的因素。

When I choose a school, I will first look at the degree of professionalism of my chosen major in this school. At the same time, the university provides me with the opportunity to practice coor and the resources of scientific research. The direction I want to develop in the future is also a factor I will consider when choosing a school.
