语言与文学

language and literature

名著阅读的打开方式有哪些?语言与文学学科组集体备课,将名著阅读导读内容趣味化,形式多样化,如观看影视剧精彩片段、改编经典桥段、绘制名著漫画等。这样的名著阅读既体现深度,又有温度,其中名著漫画已取得一定的成果,并受到学生的热捧。

How to read masterpieces? The language and literature team prepared lessons collectively to make guided reading of famous books interesting and to diversify the forms of reading them, such as watching film and series excerpts, adapting classic chapters, drawing cartoons of famous books and so on. These ways mot only deepen the students’ understanding but also make reading more flexible and adaptable. Making cartoons for the famous book is popular among the students.

数学

Mathematics

为了提高对知识点的内化与整理,同学们以“有理数”为主题,以点带线,通过线连成知识网;同时通过国庆七天收支表的记录与整理,运用知识点于实践行动中,通过数据感悟生活,让理解更透彻。

In order to improve the understanding of knowledge, students made mind maps of “rational numbers”. At the same time, through the recording and sorting of the National Day income and expenditure, students put the knowledge into practice to deepen their understanding.

语言习得

Language acquisition

为了庆祝中秋节、教师节和国庆节,英语组组织了第二届“征集最美英语文字作品”比赛,不少优秀学生作品脱颖而出,紧扣主题,创意新颖,文化内涵丰富,文字书写优美,展现了同学们的英语运用能力。

In order to celebrate the Mid-Autumn Festival, Teachers' Day and National Day, the language acquisition group organized the second "Collection of the Most Beautiful English Writing Works" competition. Many outstanding students' works came to the forefront, which were closely related to the theme, innovative, rich in cultural connotation and beautiful writing, showing students' ability to use English.

Science

科学课上,我们注重培养学生以专家思维思考学科发展,用双手触摸科学仪器,探索实验的奥妙。同时,对知识的梳理和错题的整理,也是学会科学的学习方法必不可少的一部分。

In science classes, we want our students to think like scientist and to do scientific experiments and explore the secret of science with their hands. At the same time, we also train them to sort out knowledge and important points in the scientific field.

个体与社会

Individual and society

在人文课堂上,课前两分钟是专属学生展示学科理解的时间。同学们可从自身兴趣出发,利用这段时间展示甲骨文、少数民族等知识, 课后,他们也会梳理知识网络,用不同的形式表现认识。

In the individual and society classes, the first two minutes of class are reserved for students to show their understanding of the subject. Based on their interest, they use this period of time to show their knowledge,such as oracle and ethnic minorities. After class, they will also sort out their knowledge and express their understanding in different forms.

艺术

Arts

中国传统文化博大精深,源远流长,我们通过探究水墨画的韵味,京剧的唱腔板式变化,民歌的地域流派来提升学生的审美,实现学生的全面发展。学习京剧的同时,我们也结合语言与文学知识,实现学生的跨学科理解。

Chinese traditional culture is profound. We improve students’ aesthetic appreciation by exploring the charm of painting, the changing style of Peking Opera and the regional genres of folk songs. While studying Peking Opera, we also combine knowledge of language and literature to achieve interdisciplinary understanding..

聚力同心——家委会

PTA meeting

新学期第一次家委会议在学校二楼会议室召开,所有初中家委齐聚一堂,与学校领导们一起商议新学期家校合作形式,展开热烈交流,开启家校沟通新篇章。会后,所有人员驱车前往新校址参观,一同畅想未来。

The new term’s Parent-Teacher-Association meeting was held in the meeting room, all the members shared the new term’s plans. After the meeting, all the members visited the new school site.

青春活力——第十四届校运会

the 14th Sports meeting

中黄外国语实验学校以“纵横古今,足够精彩”为主题的第十四届校运动会如期举行。本届运动会旨在展现同学们对跨学科的理解。开幕式上,同学们从语文与文学、体育、艺术等学科角度,用不同类型的节目形式向我们演绎了从古至今的足球发展瞬间,精彩纷呈。运动会上,同学们以拼搏的精神向我们展示了青春的风采和勇往直前的巅峰时刻,留下一个个灵动的身影。

The 14th school sports meeting in Guangzhou International Primary/Middle School Huangpu ZWIE was held with the theme of “football across the time". At the opening ceremony, students presented us with their wonderful performance through their understanding of literature, PE and art. At the sports meeting, the students showed us the elegant demeanor of youth and the spirit of fighting for the best. All the teachers and part of parents worked as staffs and supporters for the sports meeting.

奋发向上——MYP教师工作坊

Teachers’ workshop

即使周末也阻挡不了老师们的学习热情。我们非常荣幸邀请到了李康华校长做MYP专题培训,引领中学MYP项目发展和启发教育教学思考。李校从理念出发,一步步引导老师们思考教育教学,整合教学资源,从概念、学习技能、评估等方面提出建设性意见。老师们在学中做,做中学,梳理了中学课程框架,也清晰了奋斗方向。

We invited Principal Li to give a training workshop to all the middle school teachers. He guided us to do some reflection on displinary teaching and inspire us think deeply about the program based on the current situation. Teachers learned by doing and shared their thought about teaching.

热情传递——服务与行动

Service and action

中学部国旗仪仗队成员受邀参加萝岗璞子园Guidepost Mentessori(广州科学城校区)的升旗仪式,701班张睿轩、梁艺朗作为学生代表在国旗下做“向祖国点赞,向祖国敬礼”演讲,本次服务与行动圆满成功,同学们以最好的状态展现自我,获得了荣耀,同时也用自己的行动为周围的社区带去温暖和欢笑。

Members of the school Flag Guard were invited to participate in the flag-raising ceremony of Guidepost Mentessori (Guangzhou Science City Campus) in Puzi Yuan, Luogang, Zhang Ruixuan and Liangyilang from Class 701 were invited as student representatives to give speeches on "Praise to the Motherland, Salute to the Motherland". They brought warmth and laughter to the community as well as showing their abilities.

自然探索——社会实践

social practice

知识发生的地方不仅仅是方寸教室内,在社会实践中,我们也可以将自然变成我们的课堂。在佛山盈香生态园,同学们依托科学知识,开启了一场秋日里的自然探究之旅。

Knowledge takes place not only in the classroom, but also in social practice, we can turn nature into our classrooms. In Foshan Yingxiang Ecological Park, students started a journey of natural exploration in autumn based on scientific knowledge.

我与国旗同框

Selfie with national flag

每周一早晨,我们在国旗下,聆听不同主题的师生演讲,接受不同类型的表彰,同学们的荣誉感和自豪感油然而生。

Every Monday morning, we gather under the national flag, listen to the speeches of teachers and students with different themes and accept different types of commendations. The students' sense of honor and pride arises spontaneously.

晨曦乐章

Dear Time

迎着清晨的旭日,伴着小鸟的歌声,同学们以班级为单位散落在校园各个角落,草地上、小河边、花架旁,琅琅的读书声也构成了校园内独特的风景线。

Facing the morning sunshine, accompanied by the song of birds, students read aloud in different places outside the classroom. It also constitutes a unique scenery in the school.

芳华群英会

GIMSH Talent Show

本月的全球胜任力课程之“芳华群英会”以“爱国主义精神”为主题,701班的师生们展现了精彩的太极、拉丁、朗诵、架子鼓等表演形式,赢得了所有师生的喝彩。

Class 701 organized this month’s GIMSH talent show, they showed taichi performance, drums, poetry recitation and dances to all the members in the school and got a lot of applause. 



本次月报只是展现了我们2个月以来的部分成果,在无声的岁月里,学习社区的成员们都在各自的角落里发光发热,绽放着自己的光彩。相信我们的下次亮相肯定更精彩!

This report only shows part of our achievements during the last two months. We are fighting for our future and shining ourselves all the time. We believe that we will bring more remarkable moments next time.
