英美院校申请季已进入紧张刺激的冲刺阶段，AIC 2023届第一轮申请的同学已经传来了首批捷报！首批录取院校来自英国、澳大利亚、荷兰, 其中包括南安普顿大学University of Southampton、利兹大学University of Leeds、悉尼大学University of sydney、阿姆斯特丹大学University of Amsterdam 等世界百强大学。

The application season of has entered a tense and exciting sprint stage, and the first round of applications of AIC 2023 has received the first batch of good news! 2023年QS世界大学排名于2022年6月8日正式公布，南安普顿大学位列全球第78位！此次排名中南安普顿大学稳定发挥，维持着前6%的优秀成绩。

今年三月发布的2022QS世界学科排名中，南安普顿大学有6个学科跻身世界前50名，是2021年的两倍。其中护理学(Nursing)连续第六年名列前茅，在该学科上榜的所有英国大学中排名第二。

考古学(Archaeology)全球排名第31位，全英第7位。

统计与运筹学(Statistics and Operational Research)世界第34位，全英第7位。

地球与海洋科学(Earth and Marine Science)在世界排名第43位，全英第9位。

地质学(Geology)全球排名第48位，全英第9位。

地球物理学(Geophysics)世界排名第49位,全英第9位。

The University of Southampton, one of the top 100 universities in the world and a top university in the UK, is a member of The Russell Group, the University Alliance. Founded in 1862, the main campus is located in Southampton, England, where the Titanic started.

The QS World University Ranking in 2023 was officially released on June 8, 2022, and Southampton University ranked 78th in the world! In this ranking, Southampton University played a stable role, maintaining the top 6% of the outstanding results.

In the 2022QS World Discipline Ranking released in March this year, Southampton University has 6 disciplines among the top 50 in the world, twice as many as in 2021. Among them, Nursing ranked first for the sixth consecutive year, ranking second among all British universities in the discipline.

Archaeology ranks 31st in the world and 7th in the UK.

Statistics and Operational Research ranks 34th in the world and 7th in the UK.

阿姆斯特丹大学（University of Amsterdam，简称UvA）创建于1632年，是一所坐落在荷兰首都阿姆斯特丹的世界级顶尖研究型大学。它是全球大学高研院联盟、Universitas 21、欧洲首都大学联盟、欧洲研究型大学联盟成员。这里共诞生了六位诺贝尔奖获得者和五位荷兰首相。

美国申请

11月大批的美国大学截止了早申ED1, 例如:耶鲁大学、杜克大学、哥伦比亚大学、波斯顿大学、雪城大学等, UC大学系统要求11月30日前递交申请。ED2与RD申请在2023年的1月将截止申请。

In November, the Common Application ED1 were closed by a large number of Universities, such as Yale University, Duke University, Columbia University, Boston University, Syracuse University, etc. The UC system requires that applications be submitted before November 30. ED2 and RD applications will be closed in January 2023.

大部分英国大学本科专业申请的截止日期（除了申请截止日期为10月15日的专业）所有本科专业的申请都需要在1月25日18:00前（英国时间）提交到UCAS

The deadline for the application of most undergraduate majors in UK Universities (except for the majors whose application deadline is October 15) All applications for undergraduate majors need to be submitted to UCAS before 18:00 on January 25 (UK time)

Extra申请开放，被五所大学拒绝或拒绝所有offer的同学，可以加申一所大学。

Extra申请从2月23日开始至7月4日结束，Extra 阶段申请次数没有限制，但每次只能申请一所大学，直到 Extra 申请通道关闭。

Extra applies for open, and students who are rejected by five universities or who reject all offers can apply for an additional university.

Extra application starts on February 23 and ends on July 4. There is no limit on the number of times to apply at Extra stage, but only one university can be applied at a time until the Extra application channel is closed.
