Dear parents:
The winter holiday of 2020-21 Academic Year is coming. To ensure students have a pleasant and meaningful holiday, we would like to inform you of the winter holiday arrangement and travel advisory.
（一） Winter Holiday Arrangement
Our winter holiday will be from December 21st, 2020 (Monday) to January 3rd, 2021 (Sunday), and students will return to school on Monday, January 4, 2021. CCA will be resumed from Jan 5th, 2021. There will be CCA on Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday every week. For term 2, CCAs will begin on March 2nd, 2021. The detailed notice will be sent to all parents later.
（二）Holiday Arrangement Advisory
Strengthen parent-child communication. Please encourage your children to have more communication with you during this holiday, in order to inherit the excellent family traditions and culture. Encourage your children to share housework and cultivate their independent living ability.
Cultivate students' time management. Please encourage your children to make reasonable arrangements for break, entertainment, study and sport activities during the holiday. Furthermore, enforce safety education and have a safe and happy holiday.
Please be aware that all students are required to wear school uniform when they return to school. The related uniform procurement notice will be sent to all parents via email before the holiday. You can purchase the uniform during the holiday if needed. Before the school reopening, please help the student to tidy up his or her appearance and welcome the new year with the best spirit.
（三Travel advisory
During winter holiday, we remind families should not be traveling to countries and regions outside China areas (including Macao) and medium or high-risk regions in China. If the travel is necessary, student must follow the procedure and report their travel information to their School Division. After returning to Suzhou, the student must complete 14 days of quarantine at a designated location and another 14 days of home quarantine. The students must also take at least four COVID-19 tests. Parent should be responsible for all consequences if the student is unable to return to China or to the school due to quarantine or other COVID-19 related reasons. At present, the epidemic situation in China is still changing. Parents should carefully consider your child’s travel plans and always pay attention to the changes in high-risk areas in China. Our school does not recommend our students to leave Jiangsu Province during this winter holiday.
Before returning to school after the winter holiday, our school will re-check the student’s SuKang Code and personal health information as required by the Education Bureau. The SuKang Code and mobile phone itinerary of the parents who live with the students will also be checked and please make preparation in advance. The method for this submission, will be sent to parents by email before the end of the holiday. Thank you for your understanding and cooperation.
Here are some supplementary notes on Sukang Code. All mainland Chinese citizens please use SuKang code. Foreigners, Hong Kong, Macao and Taiwan residents can apply for epidemic prevention health information code on the APP of National Government Service Platform (Immigration Version). If the health code cannot be applied for due to objective reasons, you can also use any of the following instead:
（1）SIP Pass issued after December 21, 2020
（2）Personal Health Declaration Card issued by the community after December 21, 2020 (see the email attachment for the blank form template)
（3）A negative COVID-19 test result issued within seven days.
