2020年的地球仿佛经历了一个世纪的寒冬，由于疫情爆发，人们纷纷隔离在家，无奈之下却也难得的增加了与孩子陪伴的时间，父母们每天首要的工作就是带娃。原本天天嚷着没时间陪娃的父母们，义无反顾的担任起在家养育孩子的重任。尤其学龄前的孩子和上学后的完全不一样，他们特别需要亲密陪伴，不是随随便便拿个iPad就能打发的，游戏、学习、做运动，这其中最难的还是英语。

The earth in 2020 seems to be experiencing ever-colder winters. Due to the virus, people have been quarantined at home and parent-child time has increased. The first task of parents is to spend time with their children. Parents, who have had little time to spend with their baby, have eagerly taken this opportunity to spend more time with their children at home. Preschool children are completely different from those in school. They need especially close companionship, not just an iPad. For parents who spend time with their children to play, learn and exercise, the hardest part is English.

目前，0-6岁幼儿启蒙英语都倾向于“听和说”，却没有增加“读和写”的分量。而这方面是启蒙阶段很容易被忽略的，双语养育的孩子也许会听会说，但真正的基本功非常不扎实。

During the crucial years from birth to 6, English tends to come in the form of Listening and Speaking, and there is less opportunity for Reading and Writing development.  These aspects are easily overlooked in the very young. Children raised bilingually may be able to understand and speak English, but the other basic skills are very weak.

实际上，哪怕在国外上幼儿园，也是会要求读和写，这是在小学入学前，应该做的一些准备。所以，除了常见的“听说”类资源，我们应该更重视给孩子找一些能引起兴趣的“读写”资源，为将来做好准备。

In fact, even in kindergarten abroad, reading and writing are required skills at this age. These are skills which should be developed before students enter primary school. Therefore, in addition to the common "hearing and listening" resources, we should pay more attention to finding "reading and writing" resources that can interest children and prepare them for the future.
