每年的10月24日是联合国日，全球各地的人们都会举行各种活动以纪念联合国的成立。而今天，是联合国日的第78周年。

UN Day is on October 24th. People all over the world stage all kinds of activities to celebrate the foundation of the United Nations. Today is the 78th UN Day.

在厦门华锐莱普顿幼儿园，为了让孩子们更直观地了解各地文化特色，了解联合国及其重要性，我们组织了一场精彩的世界文化游园会。

We organized a wonderful display of world cultures at Chiway Repton Kindergarten for our children to get in touch with various cultures from around the world and to have a basic understanding of the United Nations and its importance.

这里有来自不同洲不同国家的站点，幼儿们可以在不同国家站点品尝不同国家的美食，亲手制作手工艺品，学习了解当地特色舞蹈，还有机会穿上其他国家的传统服饰拍照留念。孩子们沉浸式体验不同文化特色的同时，也增加了他们对世界多样性的认识。

We had designated spaces for ten different countries. Kids could taste special food, make handicrafts, learn local dances, and try on some ethnic clothes. With immersive experiences, they will know more about the diversity of the world.

下午，孩子们作为各国“代表”参加厦门华锐莱普顿幼儿园第二届“联合国会议”。台上大朋友精彩纷呈的介绍，台下小朋友积极互动，反响热烈~

Our kids attended the United Nations Conference on behalf of their own country, listening to intriguing speeches from IHS students.

通过探究不同国家和民族的文化，在我们培养孩子深厚爱国情怀的同时，也注重了全球视角的开拓。孩子们在庆祝联合国日活动中体会到了多元融合的世界和民族文化，并逐渐形成自信大方的品质。我们希望通过这样的经历，他们能继续保持对联合国和世界交流的兴趣，并将这种关注和意识融入到他们的成长过程中。拥有全球视野和跨文化的认识，我们相信厦门华锐莱普顿的孩子今后会以更加开放的心态走向全球，拥抱世界。

We encourage our kids to widen their horizons and embrace different cultures. By celebrating UN Day, kids develop their confidence and their interest in intercultural communication. This awareness will be incorporated into their growth. We believe that kids from Chiway Repton Kindergarten can go global with open-mindedness in the future!
