拓展课程 CCA

本学期的拓展课程依旧由校内的学术老师们为主负责和开设，在内容和数量上都所扩展。涵盖了语言、科学、社会、艺术、文学、设计、音乐等方面，共有15门课程：

For new academic year, we closely collaborate with external institutions and organisations to provide a wider range of activities, including language, science, society, art, literature, design, music and so on. There are 15 options available to students:

如今拓展课程已经在如火如荼的进行中了，它为学生们带来的不仅仅是一个发展兴趣爱好的机会，拓展课程还与莱克顿的课程体系联系紧密，相互贯通，延续了学术教育，又让学生们有机会相互交流学习，实现真正的学习共同体。学生们通过拓展课程在社交、学术、认知、情感的领域中全面成长和发展，甚至是探索学校以外的世界。国家和社会是他们最终要面对的大环境，在拓展课程的课堂上，学生们可以无限接近模拟这些环境，为他们未来走向社会做好充分的准备。

在莱克顿，配合全寄宿制的环境，我们为学生们营造了支持且全面的学习机会，给足学生选择兴趣的自由，如果说学术课程是一场专注于终点的赛跑，那么拓展课程就是一次欣赏风景的旅行，张弛间是莱克顿为学生们精心的策划。莱克顿始终坚信，教育给孩子们的不是束缚，而是选择自己人生的自由。

CCAs is not separate to what we are doing in the classroom, it is entirely complementary. CCAs facilitate in the development of various domains of mind and personality such as social development, intellectual development, moral development and emotional development. It is, above all else, about ensuring that all students are nurtured and encouraged during their time at Lucton and can develop interests, passions, skills and values that will stay with them long after they leave the school gates as they enter the world beyond.

Full boarding in Lucton supports students with a good learning atmosphere. Lucton believe that CCAs play an important role in providing all rounded education to the students, and enriching their school experience with great opportunities.
