这并不是莱克顿第一次消防演习，每学期，莱克顿都会准备一到两次消防安全演习和讲座，教会学生使用灭火器，给大家讲解消防知识，指认安全通道。水火猛于虎，在杜绝意外发生的同时，教会学生保护自己也是莱克顿的责任之一。

This is not the first time that Lucton has held a fire drill. There are one or two fire safety drills and lectures every term, teach students how to use fire extinguishers, share fire protection and identify safe passage. It is also one of Lucton's responsibilities to teach students to protect themselves while providing a safe environment.

除了看的见的危险，校园中还会有一些隐形的安全问题。在莱克顿就读的学生大部分处于青春期，这是一个由童年向成年人过渡的时期，是逐步达到生理上和心理上成熟的阶段，是人生各方面变化最大的阶段。随着孩子们的自我意识增强，身体变化巨大，他们的感情变化快而强烈，行为冲动，寻找着独立感，也可能会变得敏感而抑制情感，甚至对社交产生恐惧。这些隐形的危险也是莱克顿高度重视的问题。

There are also some hidden safety issues on campus that are not visible. Most of Luctonians are in adolescence, which is transitional stage from childhood to adulthood, and it is a period of most considerable changes in all aspects of life. Especially physical, emotional changes may make them impulsive, sensitive, and even afraid of social interaction. These dangers of invisibility are also of great concern to Lucton.

丰富的校园生活和全寄宿可以一定程度上丰富学生的精神世界并安全的过度到青春期的独立需求。莱克顿的所有员工都会考取相关的心理教育证书，在学生需要帮助的时候，能够给予及时的、一定的帮助，避免青春期不必要的冲突和情绪波动，在求学的关键时期，作为学生们坚强的后盾，支持他们全身心的投入到学习中。其中，与学生们朝夕相处的生活老师肩负着更沉重的责任。除了照顾学生们的学习、生活，生活老师们是孩子们最好的倾诉对象，无论是撒娇还是抱怨，无论是生活中的小摩擦，还是学习上的大冲突，他们照单全收，一一解决，令人头疼的青春期总能在他们的抚慰下平息那些躁动和不安。

Busy campus life and full boarding offered students a safe transition environment to the independent needs of adolescence. All Lucton staff have obtained the certificates of psychological education, which can provide professional help for students timely to avoid unnecessary conflicts and emotional fluctuations. They try their best to provide strong support for students to ensure that they are fully engaged in their studies.

除此以外，还有一项不可避免的安全问题，便是学生的健康问题。在莱克顿，有两位卫生老师全天24小时的守候在校园里，及时的为学生们处理一切身体上的不适。在校医务室，满满当当的档案里记录着所有学生们身体状况，重点标注了学生的特殊体质，例如过敏体质。几本活页夹里都是学生们各种体检报告和日常记录等资料。小冰箱中放满了学生的“专属药品”，由家长提供，一旁的抽屉里存放了大量非处方药，可以放心使用。在使用前，卫生老师会联系家长，获得准许，确保安全。

In addition, there is an inevitable safety problem, which is the health problem of students. There are two school nurses who help students deal with any physical issues on campus 24 hours a day. The school clinic, where all the students' physical conditions are recorded in the archives, including the students' special physique, medical reports and daily records. The refrigerator is full of students' "exclusive medicines" provided by parents, and there are a large number of over-the-counter medicines, which can be safely used.

同时生活与学生关怀部门也会举办相应的活动，普及身体健康知识，不定期的为学生们体检，最大程度的保证学生安全，积极应对一切突发状况。近日，为响应9月20日的全国爱牙日，学校于在9月28日举办爱牙日活动，请来专业的医护人员在体育馆为学生们做口腔筛查和高体重测量，并在剧院进行双语口腔健康讲座。内容包括：1.常见牙病有哪些？2.牙病对身体的危害？3.护牙误区有哪些？如何预防？4.哪些为咬合不正？5.矫正器的种类？在收到口腔筛查报告后，卫生老师将为学生们统一存档。

Boarding team also holds corresponding activities to popularize physical health knowledge and conduct regular physical examinations for students to ensure their safety and cope with all emergencies. Recently, Lucton held “Teeth Care Day” activity, inviting professional doctors to do oral screening and delivering bilingual oral health lectures for students.
