Chiway Repton School Xiamen, known as CRS, was co-founded by the Chiway Education Group, Xiamen Hongxin Venture Workshop, Anta Investment and XTEP Investment. It is a high-end international K12 school co-established with the famous English school, Repton School, which has a history of nearly 500 years.

Adhering to the school mission of "Chinese Origins, Global Originality, Historical Virtues, Future Competence", the school is located in the wonderful Maluan Bay, Xiamen Jimei District. The school is committed to cultivating future leaders with deep Chinese cultural roots and national pride, international vision and intercultural understanding.

Integration of Chinese and International methods: the mission of internationalization

What kind of sparks will there be when 5,000 years of Chinese culture meets 500 years of Repton School history? At the heart of the partnership between Chiway Education Group and Repton School is the exploration of "Chinese soul" and "International perspectives".

■ Chiway Education Group was founded in 1996 and is headquartered in Shanghai. The group has enterprises in more than 20 provinces and cities, as well as overseas markets such as the United States and Singapore. The scale and strength of Chiway puts it in a leading position in China.

In 2017, Chiway group innovation put forward the third version of the international education concept, namely, "Sinicization" of international education. We are committed to building an international education system in a Chinese-English dual language medium from kindergarten to high school. We have already established Overseas Chinese Academy Chiway Suzhou and Overseas Chinese Academy of Chiway, Wuxi that follow this model.

■ Repton School, founded in 1557, has nearly five hundred years of history. It is one of the 26 public schools listed in the 1886 British Public School Yearbook together with Eton College, Harrow School, Charterhouse School and Westminster School.

As the first British boarding school offering both IBDP and A Level courses, Repton School enjoys an enviable reputation in the world for its highest standards of teaching quality. About 10% of the graduates enter the Universities of Cambridge and Oxford every year. It is a highly successful example of elite education.

Learning to learn: an internationalized curriculum system

Chiway Repton School Xiamen covers four divs of K-12 education: kindergarten, primary school, middle school and high school. Our children will grow and flourish on their educational and life journey at Chiway Repton School Xiamen! Different from traditional teaching, our integrated curriculum system blends the Chinese National Curriculum and International approaches to teaching and learning. The students' curiosity is driven by their intrinsic motivation, and the pursuit of challenging learning outcomes. Reflection is a key part of learning and our children will deepen their understanding by regularly reflecting on the concepts and content they have learned.

From kindergarten, English will be second language of every child. The practice of listening, speaking, reading and writing will be through The Cambridge English teaching system, where proficiency is regularly measured.

A dynamic Extracurricular Activity (ECA) programme will help children explore new fields, such as music, art, drama, science and technology, rock climbing, swimming, fitness, hiking, ballgames, environmental protection, community service etc. All these experiences will help students to reach their potential.
