亲爱的华锐海归老师们：

在这忙碌而充实的开学季，我们共同迎来了第36个教师节。这是一个倡导“尊师重教”的节日，作为华锐海归的一名教师，我们坚信，真正的尊重是靠专业赢得的。在这样一个特殊的日子里，学校提醒全体同仁，要坚守学校的三条底线：“用专业的教学赢得家长的满意，用引领的理念赢得社会尊重，用特色的教育赢得同行敬畏”。

在华锐海归工作，我们是有时代使命的，中国教育国际化之路并不平坦，如何在国际化教育中夯实中国课程基础，提升学生未来核心素养。如何在提升学生国际视野的同时，传承中国智慧，提升心智格局，坚定民族自信和文化自信，以学贯中西之华锐学子主动贡献人类命运共同体，是全体华锐海归同仁需要日思夜想的大课题。华锐海归领导班子将与一线教师及员工为此教育信仰殚精竭虑，拼尽全力。

2020年的9月，是我校历史上的重大转折点，学校目前定位准确，突出学术，严抓学风，全体同仁士气高昂，正在为实现“成就每一人，引领每一事，真学每一天”的目标而潜心修炼。

学校坚信，教育是能量的传递和人格的影响。我们要求每一位老师都要具备高尚的师德和宽广的胸怀。坚定教育信念，有教无类，启智求真，为学生的未来而教，并启发学生为世界未来而学。

我们也号召全体老师，坚决不接受家长宴请或收受家长礼品以及任何形式的礼金，维护华锐海归教师的良好形象。

Dear teachers of OCAC:

The 36^th Teachers’ Day will arrive soon as the busy semester begins. This is a festival that calls for respecting teachers and education. As a teacher of OCAC, we believe that respect results from professionalism. On this special festival, we hope all colleagues can follow the three fundamental principles of OCAC, that is, high quality teaching and learning, to win the respect of society through an advanced school philosophy, and to win the admiration of our counterparts with OCAC’s distinctive education model.

We undertake the mission of our times as we work in OCAC. The internationalization of Chinese education will not be a smooth sailing. How to solidly practice Chinese curriculum and carry forward Chinese wisdom in international education to improve the essential qualities of students? How to broaden students’ mind and build up their confidence in our country and Chinese culture while expanding their international horizons? These are important questions that we should reflect on.

September of 2020 is a turning point of OCAC. We now have a clear direction to pursue academic excellence and, as teachers, we play a leading role in cultivating our students’ many talents.

We believe that education is energizing and helps to shape young peoples’ personalities. All teachers should be generous and open-minded. We should strengthen our faith in education, treat all students as equals, and inspire students to study for a better world.

It is important that teachers should not accept presents or cash gifts or invitation to meals from parents to keep a good image of OCAC teachers.

我们也想对家长朋友们说：

“不收礼”是我校坚定推行的传统和习惯，更是作为教师的底线。我们相信家长能够支持学校的倡议，为孩子们树立良好的榜样。

我们对孩子的爱源于师者自然的使命，无关乎礼物。您对每位老师的信任，尊重和配合就是我们最好的礼物。我们更希望家长朋友们能在精神上鼓励老师们，在行动上支持学校发展。彼此信任不抱怨，家校齐心共荣辱。

Message to parents:

It is the tradition of our school and the bottom line of teachers not to accept gifts. We believe parents can support us in acting as a role model for children. 

It is our calling as teachers to love children. It has nothing to do with gifts. Your trust, respect and cooperation are the best gift for us. We hope you can support teachers at heart and the school with actions. We should trust each other and share weal and woe.

我们很想对孩子们说：

孩子们，最珍贵的礼物莫过于你们能兑现《成功约章》里的每一个文字。时时对照“Be Good, Do Right”的至简要求，事事反观自己。

多理解父母，让他们开心。多体谅老师，让他们以你为荣，为世界未来而努力学习。这才是你们献给老师们最好的礼物。

Our message to children:

Dear children, the most precious gift is your observation of the Charter of Success. Put the principle of Be Good, Do Right into practice. 

Show understanding to your parents and make them happy. Show understanding to teachers and let them be proud of you. To work hard for a better world is the best gift to teachers.
