This week Roy White, SISA's Executive Principal, attended a conference organized by the UK examination Board Pearson Edexcel. Amongst other items on the agenda, all Heads of School that were present were offered details of Edexcel's plans for the current and next year's A-Level examinations, and data from the British Council related to university admissions world wide particularly from Chinese Students.

Mr. White was pleased to hear that their plans will not effect our BTEC students. He also attended presentations from the USA and Canada Consulates, Warwick University (UK), University of British Columbia (Canada), and Bristol University (UK). The increasing number of Chinese students applying to such universities is expected to continue. Mr White will share details of all information with our exams officer and our head of university counselling.
