I lived and worked in the United States for eight years. I graduated from New York University in Music Education. I taught in the United States, South Africa, and China for the K-12 (kindergarten to high school) age group as a music teacher in public, private, and international schools for over 10 years. I studied with Dr Judy Bond, the former director of the American
Orff Schulwerk Association; Dr John Gilbert, Director of Music Education at NYU; Dr Raffi Besalyan; Nancy Shankman, former Director of Music for the New York City Public Schools. I have completed nearly 60 recitals as a piano soloist, accompanist, chorist, percussionist, and ensemble member with various performing groups across universities and venues in the United States.
I love travelling and have visited more than 30 countries across Asia, North America, South America, Africa, and Europe.
