时光恰好，初春相见。2月6日，清晨的山语湖校园在孩子们的欢声笑语中苏醒，CBIS迎来2022-2023学年第二学期的开学返校日。

CBIS总校长杨如华等校领导在学校门口，亲切地迎接每一张山语湖学子的笑脸，他们充满了生机与活力，洋溢着希望与憧憬。新的学期，新的征程，我们一起再出发。

This was the proper time and we met in the early spring. On February 6, the campus of CBIS woke up in the morning with the laughter of the children. CBIS saw the back-to-school day of the second semester of the 2022-2023 academic year.

General principal Yang Ruhua and other school leaders cordially met the students of CBIS at the school gate. The students were full of vigor and vitality, brimming with hope and longing. The new semester was a new journey, and we started together once again.

本次开学典礼的主题是“一岁一礼，共启新程”，学校全体师生齐聚演艺厅，他们精神抖擞，意气风发，准备好迎接新学期的到来。新学期的篇章即将开启。

The theme of this opening ceremony was A Ceremony for the New Year to Start a New Journey Together. All the teachers and students gathered in the exhibition hall. Those full of energy and high spirits were ready to embrace the arrival of the new semester . The chapter of the new semester was about to open.

庄严的升旗仪式结束后，杨如华总校长发表了新学期致辞。

杨总校长首先肯定了全体CBIS学子在疫情网课期间的优异表现，你们所展现出的自律与坚持不懈将是宝贵的财富。同时杨校长用五个关键词“发展、奋进、和谐、自主、力量”与全体学生共勉，让我们在新学期各负纵横志，同抱奋斗心，在享受学习和探索的过程中成长为更好的自己。

随后，杨如华总校长、罗坤昌校长、Ian校长、黄绍平校长为上学期成绩优异、整体表现突出的学生颁发奖项，以资鼓励。

典礼尾声，来自G10的姜悦乔Kiele作为师姐，分享了自己过去一个学期的收获与心得，同时祝福全体学生学业进步，逢考必过！

After the solemn flag-raising ceremony, General Principal Yang Ruhua delivered a new term speech.

First of all, General Principal Yang Ruhua praised the excellent performance of all CBIS students’ learning in the circumstance of epidemic disease. The self-discipline and perseverance they have shown will be a precious treasure. At the same time, General Principal Yang Ruhua encouraged the students with five key words "Development, Progress, Harmony, Autonomy, Strength" . Let’s grow into better ones with ambition and the determination of struggling in the new semester during the process of learning and exploration.

Subsequently, General Principal Yang Ruhua, Principal Luo Kunchang, Principal Ian and Principal Huang Shaoping presented awards to students with outstanding academic performance in the previous semester.

At the end of the ceremony, Kiele Jiang from G10, as the senior sister, shared her harvest and experience in the past semester. At the same time, she wished all the students to make academic progress and pass every exam!

元宵佳节刚过，年味犹存。学校课室被装扮得喜庆，孩子们分享着春节假期的各种美好经历，他们即将带上满满的祝福，踏上新学期的征程。

The Lantern Festival has just passed, and the atmosphere of the New Year was still there. The classrooms were decorated with festive decorations, and the children shared various wonderful experiences during the Spring Festival holiday. They were about to embark on the journey of the new semester with full blessings.
