In which year was LWSuzhou established?

As a renowned K12 school operating group, LWS Education Group has been investing in and managing education for over 20 years, with operations spanning across the two coasts and covering the US and Canada, etc. LWS Group has successfully opened two high quality, high standard international schools in Shanghai and has achieved an absolute leadership position in the international school sector.
In 2022, LWSuzhou is officially launched.
Over the next 5 to 10 years, LWS Group will be rationally located and built in several key cities in China to create a global elite education system.
The relationship between the founder of LWS and his investors?
LWSuzhou was introduced by the Suzhou government and is directly managed by the founder, Mr. Fang. The teachers at the school have different tenures, but the educational philosophy of LWSuzhou will be carried through to the end.
LWSuzhou will be the first "18 months to 18 years" flagship school of the LWS Group, with an overall investment of over RMB 800 million (all wholly owned, avoiding the risk of changing investors and thus affecting teaching and learning).
LWSuzhou has a large campus of 70 acres (all self-owned, avoiding the risk of changes in private school policies), with a capacity of 1,824 students and 300 kindergarteners, and 577 beds for boarding students.
What are the criteria for recruiting a team of teachers for LWS?
LWSuzhou has very strict criteria for recruiting teachers; Chinese teachers, who must be returnees, must have a Master's or PhD, and preferably be interdisciplinary. Foreign teachers are carefully selected by the main school from around the world and have a wealth of experience.
Each teacher has a high level of education, extensive experience of studying at a prestigious university and teaching international courses, and is fluent in three or four languages to ensure high quality teaching.
Why is this necessary?
Because in order to train students with an international perspective, teachers must first of all have travelled abroad and seen education in different countries. Only teachers who have a certain level of knowledge in their own subject matter can really 'bridge the gap'.
What courses does LWS offer?
LWS's international education has been introduced and developed over many years, on the basis of which a lively, detailed and comprehensive teaching system and programme has been developed, combining the rich teaching and study abroad experience of Chinese and foreign teachers.
We help students to shape their personality in all aspects, discover and explore their potential and interests. Students will have a clearer understanding of themselves so that they can choose the right direction for their university applications.
What student clubs are there at LWS?
LWS fully respects and supports the development of students' natural interests and currently has 21 student clubs, including: Orbis Club, Journalism Club, Key Club, Drone Club, Robotics Club, Drama Club, Dance Club, Gardening Club, Debate Club, Skateboard Club, etc. Club activities are an important part of the campus culture.
All clubs are organised and managed by the students themselves. Participation in clubs both on and off campus helps broaden their horizons and enhance their sense of social responsibility. It plays a vital role in their future applications to overseas universities.
