深美家校联盟：首届家委会主席成功竞选

Celebrate The First President of PTA Was Elected Successfully

2023年3月1日，深美自2005年成立以来，开展了家校联盟的首次沟通，并成功举办了家委会的主席竞选，现场掌声不断，让我们来看看深美即将迎来怎样的改变！

深美信奉美国教育家杜威的理念，让教育自然而然地融入每一个孩子的生活中，学校的校本课程以“全人教育”为底色，对标美国精英阶层的名流教育，让孩子沉浸在学习和思考的氛围中。

我们邀请了深美学校理事会成员兼学术总监David分享了深美学校现在的课程框架：

以“大数理+大人文”为核心，使用全套的新加坡数学教材培养孩子的数理思维，采用美国分级阅读标准培养孩子的经典阅读能力。同时开设“世界课堂”，帮助孩子们建立全球视野。

学校聘请了世界名校硕博学历的骨干名师，为孩子们教授融合中国文化和西方思维的精英课程，孩子们还将从初中开始享受到美国藤校老师团队提供的个性化升学指导。

深美的教育是融合的教育，我们致力于构建一个滋养孩子们自由发展的教育生态，这离不开家校的通力合作。深美学校的首届家委会主席在我们的和平竞选中成立，GAYA女士正式成为我们首届家委会的主席，庄雪儿妈妈和李玲妈妈成为我们首届家委会的副主席，三位妈妈将与学校通力合作，一起把深美带向更精彩的未来。

On March 1, 2023, since its establishment in 2005, SAIS carried out the first talk from the parent-school alliance, and has elected the first president of PTA. The applause never stops, let’s take a look at what news SAIS is about to usher in!

SAIS believes in the American educator Dewey, “education is naturally integrated into every child’s life”, our school is based on “whole-person education”; bench marking the celebrity education of the American elite, so that children are immersed in the atmosphere of learning and thinking. 

We invited David, the member of the Board of Trustees and Academic Director of SAIS, to share the current curriculum framework:

with the core of “Big Mathematics +Great Humanities”, a full set of Singapore math textbooks are used to cultivate children's mathematical thinking, and American graded reading standards are used to cultivate children’s classic reading ability. At the same time, the “into the world as classroom” project is to help children build the global perspective.

The school has hired top teachers with master and doctoral degrees from world-famous schools to teach children elite courses that integrate Chinese culture and Western logical thinking; children will also enjoy personalized college guidance started from junior high provided by the team of IVY League teachers.

SAIS believes in integrated education. We are committed to building an education ecology that nourishes children’s free development, which is inseparable from the cooperation of family and school. The first PTA president was elected, Lady GAYA officially became the president of our first parent-school association; Zhuang Xuer and Li Ling were elected to be the vice president of our first parent-school association. The three mothers will work with school to bring a wonderful future to SAIS!
