IB PYP Chinese Exploration
The core curriculum of the IB Fusion Class follows the framework of the IB PYP curriculum and is based on six super-disciplinary themes that are closely related to life. Children are guided to use the methodology of Asking Questions - Thinking Questions - Solving Problems - Extending Problems to develop the ability to apply knowledge to solve practical problems from an early age.
Exploring Lingnan and Cantonese Culture
The Cantonese language and Lingnan culture are the treasures of Chinese traditional culture, and the IB Fusion Class is rich in folk customs, Cantonese rhymes and garden parties. Through the Cantonese language immersion environment and the children's favourite games and exploration methods, children can experience, enjoy and identify with traditional culture, as well as foster a deep sense of Chinese cultural heritage and national identity.
Little Creators STEAM Workshop
The cultivation of technological literacy is always a concern for ACZS. The Kindergarten IB Fusion Class will use an interdisciplinary teaching model to integrate integrated learning of subjects such as astronomy, geography and chemistry into daily exploration activities. Bridging Courses for Empowerment
As a value-added programme to the IB Fusion Class, the development of the "Kindergarten to Primary" to "Primary to Secondary" stage aims to promote the holistic development of the child by adding two major areas of enrichment, including literacy and logical thinking, to the regular classroom, continuing to pave the way and empower the child from Primary to Secondary, thus supporting the transition to different stages of learning and growth.
