Follow Up on the Charity Basketball Event

1st CISH✖Volkswagen Anhui Basketball Charity Tournament

After the charity basketball event between CISH and Volkswagen Anhui that took place on March 11th 2023, our student council has raised 8540 RMB from the CISH community. The raised money is to be donated to the UNHCR for those whose lives have been destroyed by the Turkish-Syrian Earthquake in February of this year. A further 8000 RMB donation was made in name of CISH，making 16540 RMB in total for this charity event.

We would like to thank everyone who contributed to this fundraising and came out to support this event. The raised money, an equivalent of 18,906 HKD, has been transferred to the UNHCR. Also a special thank you is extended to G11 Oskar Opfer and G11 Henry Bai who did a lot of work to organize this event!

2023年3月11日，合肥加拿大外籍人员子女学校和安徽大众集团举行了一场慈善篮球活动，本次活动我们学生会共筹集到了8540元人民币。这笔筹款将捐献给联合国难民署，用于帮助今年二月份土耳其—叙利亚大地震中的受害者。同时，我校又在此基础上加上8000元人民币善款，使得本次慈善活动共筹集到了16540元人民币。

感谢支持大家这次募捐活动。筹集的款额折合成18906港币，已募捐给联合国难民署。还要特别感谢G11 Oskar Opfer和G11 Henry Bai，他们为这次活动组织做了很多工作！
