*Review of ACZC Education Seminar on 1 April
Since the beginning of this year, Ardingly College Zhongshan's 15-year educational pathway, its world-class educational genes and the outstanding 'hardware and software' have continued to attract the attention and recognition of numerous Zhongshan families.
On 22 April, ACZS will welcome its second Education Seminar at the kindergarten campus. Whether you are just finding out about us or you were unable to attend the previous session due to overwhelming registration numbers, we cordially invite you to visit us next Saturday for more information!

In this Education Seminar, we will share a one-stop of content from the Kindergarten, Primary, Middle, High School and explore with you the core educational vision at ACZS and explore new possibilities for education in the new era.

We are proud to deliver a high-end private bilingual school offering a 15-year consistent educational pathway for families in Zhongshan and the Greater Bay Area. The school provides a Kindergarten, Primary School, Middle School, and Dual path Senior High School with an expected enrolment of approximately 3,000 students who may choose to attend as day or boarding students. Ardingly College Zhongshan(Kindergarten) officially opened in the autumn of 2022.
At the inaugural meeting of the International Characteristic Schools Committee of The Chinese Private Education Association held in September 2022, Ardingly College Zhongshan was named the first board member of the committee.

Ardingly College Zhongshan(Kindergarten) is an official IBO PYP candidate school, seamlessly integrating the essence of Chinese and Western pedagogies. The aim of the IB PYP is to provide students with an inquiry-based transdisciplinary framework incorporating 6 Units of Inquiry.
Additionally, we supplement our programme with the UK EYFS standards for learning, development, and care, which prioritises A unique Child, Positive Relationships, Enabling Environments and Learning and Developing. Lastly, we fully align with the Chinese Kindergarten 3 to 6 year-old guidelines which are crucial to building a strong foundation in Chinese culture and development of each child.
Mr. Alan Wang, of EVA Architects and former chief designer (education projects) of Perkins-Will, a world-renowned architectural firm, is an Australian and British Royal Certified Architect who served as the chief designer for our school. The design was created to be like it’s own micro-city, to encourage socialisation, creativity, and inclusion all within the Ardingly College Zhongshan campus. Our school spaces serve to empower our students with the core value of using spaces as a platform to enhance global leadership and global competencies.
ACZS is equipped with facilities built to an international-standard, Including our technology and innovation centre, library, art gallery, a professional black box theatre, a 600-seat performing arts theatre, a multi-function science laboratory, a large indoor gym, an indoor suspended running track, a heated indoor swimming pool, indoor basketball and volleyball courts, a football field, a standard 400 meter outdoor running track, roof-top tennis courts, a squash hall, student dormitory, and faculty housing.
The theme and inspiration of the kindergarten building is 'space', aiming to create an imaginative and fun space for children to explore. The kindergarten was designed in four divs to increase the accessibility of each div to the outdoor environment. Using the "windmill" as inspiration, the four arc-shaped buildings face different directions, allowing children to actively play and explore in an open and transparent environment.
As a popular entry in the architectural community in China and abroad, the school has lived up to its reputation by earning the recognition of highly renowned international organisers and organisations. This includes the Muse Design Award and the Golden Bund Award, as well as other distinguished awards!
