Day 1

Morning class: Understand the overall course content,learning objectives and outcomes.Think about the impact of technology on the natural environment.

Extension activities: Ice breaking.Meet British and international students. Learn different ways and strategies to meet new people.

Challenge: Super Lego Build Challenge.Students create a piece with a limited number of Lego bricks in a set time and learn the basics of Lego programming and coding.

Fun class: Know about the UK.Learn about 10 recent British inventions that had impact on the history.Under the guidance of the teacher,students reflected on the day's learning experience and activities,summarized and link to the knowledges of STEAM,and complete their daily diary.

Evening activity: golf.The children will practice their golf skills under the guidance of professional coaches.

Day 2

Morning class: Preview the objectives,core knowledge and key English vocabulary of today's challenge.

Challenge activities: Testing wind speed in groups: Exploring the scientific concepts of force and motion,renewable energy,energy capture,storage,and utilization. Students work as a team to explore how to build windmills out of Lego bricks.

Extension activities: Students can give full play to their imagination and creativity to complete designated creative tasks through independent creation and collective creation.

Fun Class: Exploring London.Get an in-depth understanding of British cities through activities such as map reading,information gathering and crossword puzzles.Students can choose any landmark they want and create a fact file to compare with China.

Evening activity: Rounders.Rounders is one of the most popular summer sports in schools across the UK.Students learn the basic rules and skills of this competitive game in a safe and exciting competition.

Day 3

Morning class: Learn about the goals and tasks of today's challenge,core knowledge and key English vocabulary preview.

STEAM Course: Nature and Environmental Protection.Working in small groups,the students will search specific locations around the Forest to investigate the different types of animals that could be found,designing,and building a shelter made from natural resources.This collaborative task led by children focuses on their life skills development, creativity,and cooperation.They will discover the environment where animals naturally exist and learn how to support and protect them.

Extension activities: Swimming and lifesaving skills taught by a professional instructor.

Fun Club ：Learn about the British education system.Talk about the Chinese and British education systems.Let the children identify the similarities and differences of them.Get to know Oxford/Cambridge and other famous universities in the UK.

Evening activity：football.To train students' physical fitness and basic football core skills,participate in a mini tournament of one of England's most popular inventions.

Day 4

Morning class: Preview the learning objectives,core knowledge and key English vocabulary of today's challenge activity.

Challenge activity: launching a satellite.Create programs that implement algorithms to achieve a given goal.Design, build and program a robot that can place a satellite in a marked area on the challenge pad,design a path for the robot to walk on the space pad,etc.Renewable energy in space.Gather information about how solar panels are used in space,take advantage of renewable energy sources (solar, wind),and roll out the solar panel Robot challenge.

Extension activities: team competition.According to their own advantages,students can form a team,and they can choose rounders,cricket,pool,rock climbing,badminton and other competitions.

Fun Club：British traditional culture.Students are completely immersed in British culture,exposed to,and experiencing a range of traditional British culture,food,games,clothing and much more. Appreciate the differences between the UK and China.

Evening activities：Traditional games and activities.To continue the theme of English culture,learn about traditional English private school sports and games,including cricket,Eton squash and croquet.

Day 5

Challenge: Exploring environmental issues. Students develop an understanding of an environmental problem, gather clues and data,and discuss possible solutions with friends.

Extension activities: Speech and debate. Students present works completed in the course, discuss the learning gains of the week,and give speeches expressing their views about the impact of technology on the environment.

Fun Club: Lake District National Park. Look at the location of the Lake District on the map, learn about the history of the Lake District, the topography,the story of Peter Rabbit, and English poets.

Evening activities: Movie appreciation.The Story of Peter Rabbit,preparing for a weekend trip to the Lake District and a visit to the Peter Rabbit Museum.
