Family Fun Day
家庭欢乐日
On Thursday, June 1, CISK held its 6th annual Family Fun Day! This year was one of the most exciting yet, with almost 30 stations including an international food court, a bouncy castle, a dancing machine, a VR spaceship, paragliding, Go-Karting, our very own CISK’s Got Talent, and much, much more. Thank you to everyone who made this day memorable for our school community. Let's continue to cherish our childhood and promote a nurturing environment where our students can continue to learn, grow, and thrive!
6月1日星期四的这一天，CISK成功举办了第六届年度家庭欢乐日！今年的欢乐日多彩多样：我们当天有近30个摊位，其中包括国际美食广场、充气城堡、跳舞机、VR飞船、滑翔伞、卡丁车、CISK达人秀，等等。在此，我们想感谢每一个为家庭欢乐日付出的人。我们也想借助儿童节的这一天表达我们的意愿：CISK始终致力于给孩子们提供一个有利的成长环境，我们非常希望孩子们能够在这里茁壮成长！

On June 7, our Grade 9 and 10 students were invited to EtonHouse International School Suzhou to view their MYP Personal Projects. This visit not only gives our students an opportunity to learn from others but also to reflect on themselves, on how to improve their work from different aspects.
6月7日，我们九年级和十年级的学生受邀至苏州伊顿国际学校参观他们的中学个人项目。此次参观不仅给我们CISK的学生提供了一个向他人学习的机会，同时也是一个重新思考自己作品的绝佳机会。

On June 15, teachers and parents gathered together to celebrate the achievements of grade 5 students’ final year of their PYP journey at the graduation ceremony. From showcasing their incredible performances to sharing their exhibitions, our PYP graduates demonstrate that they can not only build conceptual understanding beyond school subjects but also be able to identify and reflect on real-world issues present in the world.
6月15日，学生、家长和老师齐聚一堂，庆祝小学毕业生在最后一年取得的成就。典礼上，除了表演节目，孩子们还分享了他们的毕业展。该毕业展表达出了我们小学毕业生对超学科概念的理解，同时还反映出了他们能够认识和反思世界上存在的现实问题。

Kindergarten & Secondary School Graduation

On June 16, we held Kindergarten & Secondary School Graduation Ceremony. As quoted by Dr. Bomo in the graduation speech, Michelle Yeoh once stated that “learning how to fall teaches you how to land. Learning how to land gives you the courage to jump higher.” Our graduates have experienced many ups and downs in their learning experiences, however, they faced the challenges with their heads held high. The end of this chapter is only the beginning of your next. Keeping in mind the vision of being a “life-long learner” from the IB, we sincerely wish our graduates to not only strive as individuals, but also continuously contribute to society; and to become global citizens through "unity of knowledge, practice, and perfection".
6月16日，我们举办了幼儿园及初高中的毕业典礼。正如Bomo博士引用杨紫琼的话说“学习如何跌倒，将教会你如何平稳着陆；而学会平稳着陆，则带给你跳向更高处的勇气。”在学习生涯中，从不会到会，从不懂到懂，我们CISK的毕业生经历了许多坎坷与困难，但他们始终没有放弃，依旧自信从容地面对挑战。然而，一段学习的结业并不代表结束，它是另一学业的开端。抱着遵循IB“终生学习”的态度，祝愿我们的毕业生，愿你们不但独善其身，而且兼善天下，成为“知行合一，止于至善”的世界公民。

On June 21, students from G5A celebrated this year’s Dragon Boat Festival by making Zong Zi in the school’s canteen. From wrapping the bamboo leaves around the rice to tying it up with string, the students immerse themselves in making traditional cuisine.
6月21日，为庆祝端午节，CISK五年级学生在老师的带领下学习如何做粽子：从学习用竹叶包糯米，到学习用绳子系粽子，学生们沉浸在制作传统美食的体验中。

On June 27, all of the secondary school gathered together in the afternoon and enjoyed the group dance of Ceilidh, delicious snacks, and various activities. This celebration allowed students to spend quality time with each other, have fun, express gratitude, and celebrate the collective and individual journeys of the year that has passed. This event also provided an opportunity to acknowledge and commemorate the past while embracing the possibilities of the future.
6月27日下午，中学部的全体师生齐聚一堂庆祝年末庆典。他们跳了传统的苏格兰凯利舞、品尝了美味的小吃，组织了各式各样的活动。该庆典使学生在彼此共度美好时光的同时回顾了这一学年来集体和个人的成就，他们还一起表达了对未来的向往和憧憬。

Last School Day
学年最后一天
As the 2022-2023 academic year draws to a close, students and teachers said their farewells to one another. Tears have been shed and smiles have been shared as yearbooks were signed. The very last secondary school assembly of the academic year was held and awards were handed out to students for their achievements throughout the year. CISK would like to wish all students, staff and parents a safe and restful summer! See you again next academic year.
随着2022-2023学年接近尾声，学生和老师们互相道别。在大家签年鉴时，心中感慨万千，有的学生留下了眼泪，有的学生跟大家开心地说来年再见。在本学年最后一次中学集会时，老师们还向学生颁发了这一学年中取得的奖项。CISK祝愿所有的学生、家长和员工暑假愉快！我们下一学年再见！
