1st Graduation Ceremony
We met in late autumn and parted in midsummer. One year ago, you came with your dreams just like the buds in early spring and the rising sun. One year later, with your love and ambition for everything, you have become the light that can pass through the fog, dreaming of the stars and being unstoppable.
On July 6th 2023, Ardingly College Zhongshan(Kindergarten) celebrated its first graduation ceremony. A solemn and warm ceremony was held to honor the children. Countless flowers and applause paved the way for their future voyage, as well as the teachers, students and parents who gathered at the ceremony despite the heat to send their warmest wishes for their first period of growth.

Dear children, we are more eager to incorporate blessings into our performances than tears and words of advice before you leave. With the extraordinarily lively dance and recitation, we would like to send our blessings to you who are about to go to this big world, "No matter what, may you retain the smiling face you had in kindergarten, and the incomparable curiosity, desire to explore and love."
The innocent smiles are the best reflection of the children's growth from the opening of the school last year to now. Thanks to the splendor given to us by ACZS(Kindergarten), we are extraordinarily happy every day here!
The teachers' love and patience for the children has never waned since we first met. This may seem like a normal thing for the "big friends" who are not very talkative, but it has made the children's memories even more colourful. Today, they also presented the children with a farewell dance, 'Lalaland', a choreography full of love and wistfulness, which seemed to tell us again from the beginning to the end of their year of meeting, companionship and growth.
Even though they were in different grades, the children who emerged from the parent-child reading competition were determined to give their blessings to their brothers and sisters. The resounding but tender voices of the children also brought tears to the eyes of many K3 graduates.

With the best wishes for the children, Mr. Genix Zhan, Head of Operation & Board Member of ACZS, to speak at the graduation ceremony. “During this period, we have witnessed every moment of the children's growth from tender buds to strong individuals. They have learned to share, care for others, and respect different voices, also learned to face difficulties, persevere, and confront challenges. In the days to come, please continue to keep your innocent smiles, hold on to your kind hearts, and bravely explore and learn to become the best version of yourselves in this world.”
Parents Representatives' Speech
Since the opening of ACZS(Kindergarten) last autumn, we are most grateful to the parents who have given us their trust and support, and it is through this two-way effort that the children's growth has been so brilliant. As a representative of the parents, Cindy's mother from K3-Zeta also spoke at the graduation ceremony, "Thank you for planning this ceremony. Thank you for the wisdom and sweat you have poured into the healthy growth of the children throughout the year. Thank you for the excellent environment and scientific education philosophy of ACZS(Kindergarten), which has fully created a space for the children to develop freely and support their childhood to be full of happiness and sunshine!"
"Good morning!" "What's wrong baby? Let me see", "That's amazing, I'm proud of you!" ...... All along the way, the impression of ‘second mom’ has been embedded in the hearts and minds of every child. To them, the principal is a partner to explore the world with, an adult to share their worries with on the way to growth, and the warmest and most reassuring person they can rely on in their home away from home.
As the closest witness to the children's growth, Ms. Hannah Han, the Chinese Head of Early Years, also spoke excitedly on stage today with Mr. Colby, the International Head of Lower School, and presented the children with their diplomas, a symbol of graduation. "Today, you have graduated from ACZS(Kindergarten)! We believe that the sun will still shine tomorrow, and we believe that the ideals will still be with us. Wherever you are, ACZS(Kindergarten) will bless you! Fly, children! Fly, dream!"

Both the end
and the beginning
Growth always comes quietly but warmly. Before anyone knows it, the children who were crying one minute are changing into their academicals the next and boarding the train for the next stop. For the children at ACZS(Kindergarten), graduation is not just the end of the line, but the beginning of bursting out of the bud and the cocoon into a butterfly.
The children know, the teachers know, but the parents don't fully know about the amazing adventures of ACZS(Kindergarten). This is a microfilm in which the 25 graduates themselves tell their own fascinating stories of multicultural exploration, unlocking their natural potential and acquiring valuable and noble qualities.
As the absolute protagonists of the day, K3 graduates opened the second half of the event with an energetic dance. The song "Together" also reflected the deep friendship that the children have built up throughout the year, gathering as a fire and scattering as a sky full of stars .
K2《Let's Recycle and Heal the World》
The children in PN, K1 and K2 all took to the stage under the guidance of their teachers for the 'big day'. They used their real life experiences in Kindergarten throughout the year as the theme for their performances, and combined them with the central idea of the IB Inquiry Unit and the 10 key learning objectives to present a series of wonderful performances.
K3 Graduates'《The Time of Journey》
Drucker, the famous American management expert, once said, "If you can't manage time, you can't manage anything." In conjunction with the two major units of enquiry this term, 'How the World Works' and 'How We Organise Ourselves', K3 graduates returned to the stage once again. This time, they showed us their excellent English skills and dramatic talent with a self-directed English drama called 'The Journey of Time', which had the adults resonating with them as they sighed about the passage of time.
The Spanish song 'Amigos' sung by Mr. Billy aroused the children's deepest thoughts of friendship. Yes, in the course of a year, the children have gone from not knowing each other to being inseparable from each other. Now at the time of parting, countless memories of laughter and tears came to their minds in a flash, and the friendship of the children was elevated to a stronger and more precious bond.
The children at ACZS(Kindergarten) are growing up exceptionally well also because of the support from the PSG members. They have put aside their busy schedules or sacrificed much of their free time in order to give all the children a brighter future. At the graduation ceremony, the members of the PSG used a wonderful chorus to show us the unique charm of the joint efforts and the deep community cultures of the ACZS community.
We all know that time goes by, but we can't stop it from standing still. That's why, at the end of the graduation ceremony, K3 graduates chose to end their year of growing up with a song called 'Memories', and to seal it forever in their own life memoirs.
Dear children, we have longed for you to grow up, to go out into the mountains and seas, to pursue your passions and to meet the world of the future, but in a trance we were afraid that you would suddenly grow up without such a warm shelter when you encounter the thorny path. But no matter what, when we see your spirited figures today, and the World Ready ability that you gradually formed, we are delighted and confident in your voyage.
Go on, children! Go and see the beautiful world! Go and light up the world with your own light! May ACZS(Kindergarten) be the confidence of your gallop at all times, and may it be your everlasting inner sanctuary in case of setbacks!
