    东华文泽全IB学校以隆重的颁奖典礼为2022-2023学年画上了完满的句号。在颁奖典礼上我们表彰了学生们的成就和成长。从小学课程(PYP)到中学课程(MYP)和文凭课程(DP),学校认可学生的勤奋、韧性和学术卓越。学期末颁奖典礼突显了TWIS社区的集体成就,并展现了国际文凭(IB)教育的价值。

    The TWIS IB Continuum School concluded the 2022-2023 academic year with a grand celebration, honoring the achievements and growth of its students. From the Primary Years Programme (PYP) to the Middle Years Programme (MYP) and the Diploma Programme (DP), the school recognized the dedication, resilience, and academic excellence demonstrated by its students. The year-end ceremony was a momentous occasion that highlighted the collective accomplishments of the TWIS community and showcased the values of the International Baccalaureate (IB) education.



PYP 1

    颁奖典礼以TWIS社区最年轻的小成员-一年级学生的表演拉开帷幕,他们以《让你的光芒闪耀》点燃了舞台。歌曲表现出慷慨无私,乐于助人和不求回报的特质。一年级的班主任Emkay女士和Daisy女士高度评价了学生们在学术上的进步以及合作、沟通和独立性等方面的成长。

    The ceremony kicked off with the youngest members of the TWIS community, the Grade 1 students, who stole the stage with their performance titled "Let Your Light Shine." The Grade 1 students exemplified generosity and selflessness, demonstrating their willingness to help others without expecting anything in return. Their homeroom teachers, Ms. Emkay and Ms. Daisy, commended their enthusiasm for learning and growth, both academically and in areas such as collaboration, communication, and independence.


PYP 2
    二年级的同学们通过“不要担心,要快乐”的表演展示了他们的成长和团队合作。他们的班主任Jamie先生和Eurus女士一起回顾了这段旅程,肯定了学生们在各个学科上的进步,以及他们思考、探究和采取有意义行动的能力。一首饱含深情的《二年级:团队没有“我”》的诗歌为他们的成绩喝彩,并鼓励他们在未来的奋斗中继续发光发亮。        
    The Grade 2 students showcased their growth and teamwork through their performance of "Don't worry, Be Happy." Mr. Jamie and Ms. Eurus, their homeroom teachers, reflected on their journey together, acknowledging the students' progress in various academic subjects and their ability to think, inquire, and take meaningful action. A heartfelt poem titled "Grade 2: There is no 'I' in Team" celebrated their achievements and encouraged them to continue shining brightly in their future endeavors.
PYP 3
    “统一、支持和个人成长”是三年级《多彩世界》表演的主题。他们的班主任教师Charles先生和Catherine女士回顾了学生们的成就,并强调了他们在拼写、数学和各种课外活动中的成就。教师们对学生们的进步表示自豪,并敦促他们继续提问、保持开放心态,并始终做到最好。    
    Unity, support, and personal growth were the themes of the Grade 3 performance, titled "Colorful World." Mr. Charles and Ms. Catherine, their homeroom teachers, reminisced about the students' accomplishments and highlighted their achievements in spelling, mathematics, and various extracurricular activities. The teachers expressed pride in their students' progress and urged them to keep asking questions, staying open-minded, and always doing their best.
PYP 4
    四年级的学生们在他们的《柠檬树》表演中体现了力量、韧性和才华。他们的班主任教师Paul先生和Ivy女士赞扬了他们的勤奋好学、解决问题的能力和创造力。他们强调了学生们对他们认识教师这个角色产生的积极影响,并对这一年来共同分享的回忆表示感谢。老师们鼓励学生们在升入下一年级时继续提问、热爱学习、友善待人。    
    Strength, resilience, and personal development were exemplified by the Grade 4 students in their rendition of "Lemon Tree." Mr. Paul and Ms. Ivy, their homeroom teachers, commended their dedication, problem-solving skills, and creativity. They emphasized the impact the students had on their lives as teachers and expressed gratitude for the memories shared throughout the year. The teachers encouraged the students to continue asking questions, loving learning, and being kind as they move on to the next grade.
PYP 5
    五年级学生用表演《今天是美好的一天》标志着他们PYP学习旅程的圆满结束。他们的老师Aleks女士、Harry先生和Belinda女士反思了这个充满探索、成长和发现的不可思议的学年。他们回顾了学生们涉足的各种主题,从古代文明到可持续发展,并庆祝他们PYP成果展的成功。教师们对学生们的成就表示自豪,并感谢家长们的支持和合作。
    The Grade 5 students marked the culmination of their PYP journey with a performance of "Today is the Day." Ms. Aleks, Mr. Harry, and Ms. Belinda, their teachers, reflected on the incredible academic year filled with exploration, growth, and discovery. They highlighted the various topics the students delved into, from ancient civilizations to sustainability, and celebrated the success of their PYP Exhibition. The teachers expressed pride in the students' achievements and extended their gratitude to parents for their support and collaboration.
    随着PYP小学阶段的结束,仪式也标志着五年级学生向中学项目的过渡。他们接过了红色领带,象征着MYP新阶段的开始,并准备了承担随之而来的责任。这一里程碑标志着他们准备开始下一阶段的学术旅程,并成为接下来PYP学生的榜样。
    As the PYP phase concluded, the ceremony recognized the Grade 5 students' transition to the Middle Years Programme. They received red ties, symbolizing their acceptance into the MYP and the responsibilities that come with it. This milestone marked their readiness to embark on the next phase of their academic journey and serve as role models to the students of PYP.

    The TWIS Secondary School Year-End Ceremony continued with the celebration of the MYP students' accomplishments. Each grade level within the MYP shared their journey, reflecting on growth, resilience, and academic achievements.
    MYP4和MYP5的学生们也为大学预科课程(DP)做好了充足的准备。 他们的班主任老师反思了整个学年所面临的独特挑战,并赞扬了学生们的同理心、合作精神和积极的学习态度。 MYP5的学生们很荣幸地将中学课程的红色领带换成了蓝色领带,象征着他们进入了更须自律的大学预科课程(DP)。 老师们对学生们的成就表示自豪,并对他们进入DP表示祝贺。 他们强调了这一转变的重要性,并鼓励学生们以奉献精神和毅力迎接即将到来的挑战。 


    The MYP4 and MYP5 performances marked a transitional moment for the students as they prepared for the Diploma Programme (DP). Their homeroom teachers reflected on the unique challenges faced throughout the school year and commended the students for their compassion, collaboration, and positive attitude towards learning. The MYP5 students were honored with the replacement of their red Middle Years Programme tie with the blue tie, symbolizing their transition into the esteemed Diploma Programme. The teachers expressed their pride in the students' accomplishments and acknowledged their entrance into the DP. They emphasized the significance of the transition and encouraged the students to embrace the upcoming challenges with dedication and perseverance.

    在颁奖典礼上,学校老师为优秀的学生们颁发了特别的奖项,以表彰他们的优异表现。这些奖项包括:最进步学生奖,表彰那些在学术追求上表现出显著进步的学生;“学术成就奖”,则表彰那些在学术上取得优异成绩并始终表现出学习热情的学生;“国际思维奖”,是一项杰出的荣誉,授予那些在一年中始终如一地体现了众多IB学习者特征的学生。
    During the ceremony, special awards were presented to deserving students to honor their exceptional achievements and contributions. These awards included the Most Improved Student award, recognizing students who demonstrated remarkable growth and improvement in their academic pursuits. The Academic Achievement Award celebrated students who achieved outstanding academic results and consistently demonstrated a passion for learning. The International Mindedness award is distinguished accolade is bestowed upon those students who have consistently exemplified a multitude of the IB learner profile attributes throughout the year.

    In her address to the gathered audience, the Head of School, Ms. Ann, expressed her profound pride and gratitude as the TWIS community came together to celebrate the conclusion of yet another exceptional year. She emphasized the vibrant and inclusive community that had been fostered at TWIS, one that celebrated diversity and cultivated a profound love for learning. Ms. Ann acknowledged the commitment to academic excellence and highlighted the holistic development nurtured within the school environment. She expressed her appreciation to the teachers for their dedication and belief in every student's potential. Ms. Ann also extended her gratitude to the parents for their support and partnership in creating an environment where students can thrive academically, emotionally, and socially. She concluded by expressing her confidence in the students' ability to shape the future with their knowledge, skills, and values.
