天仪研究院是中国商业化SAR遥感卫星及科研卫星的开拓者和引领者。成立7年时间，已经完成了17次太空任务，成功发射包括中国首批商业组网SAR卫星“海丝一号”及“巢湖一号”在内的共计28颗卫星，填补了我国商业SAR卫星的空白，达到了国际轻小型商业SAR卫星的领先水平。2022年，天仪研究院入选国家高新技术企业、国家专精特新“小巨人”企业；成为了“国家航天局卫星数据与应用国际合作中心”理事单位及国家双创示范基地重大项目。截止目前，天仪已为国家应急部、自然资源部等多部委，以及联合国等相关国际机构提供数万景卫星遥感影像，并助力客户完成重大空间科研突破，实验成果多次登上国际顶级期刊《Nature》。
The Tianyi Research Institute is a pioneer and leader in commercial SAR remote sensing satellites and scientific research satellites in China. In the seven years since its establishment, it has completed 17 space missions and successfully launched a total of 28 satellites, including China's first commercial SAR satellites "Haisi-1" and "Chaohu-1", which have filled the gaps in China's commercial SAR satellites and reached the leading level of international lightweight and small commercial SAR satellites. It has also become the governing unit of the International Cooperation Centre for Satellite Data and Applications of the National Space Administration and a major project of the National Shuangchuang Demonstration Base. Up to now, Tianyi has provided tens of thousands of satellite remote sensing images for the Ministry of Emergency Response, the Ministry of Natural Resources and other ministries and commissions, as well as the United Nations and other relevant international organisations, and has helped its customers to complete major breakthroughs in space scientific research, and its experimental results have been published in the top international journal "Nature" many times.
