全员培训
2023年8月7日，西亚斯外籍人员子女学校在人力资源部的组织下进行了2023-2024年全员培训。外籍学校校长米尔斯博士，教学校长克莉丝汀女士，各部门负责人及其他中外方员工共同参与了此次培训。理事长也从遥远的美国通过视频的方式为我们传来了他的问候。
On August 7, 2023, Sias International School held its 2023-2024 School Year All Staff Training. The Chair of Board of Directors, Dr. Shawn Chen cares much about Sias IS and our staff, he has sent his greetings via videos from the USA. Dr. Mills, the Head of School, Ms. Christian, the Principal, department managers and other Chinese and foreign staff participated in this training.
培训开始后，校长米尔斯博士进行了首场发言，介绍了西亚斯外籍学校是如何克服疫情三年的影响并且不断发展壮大的。同时，也让在坐的各位了解到如何才能从生存走向更美好的未来。随后，米尔斯校长及各部门领导向全体员工热情介绍了中方外的新成员，新成员的加入在充实团队力量的同时也为外籍学校注入了新的活力。为了使他们能够更好的融入团队，加深同事之间的交流，人事部经理李晓东女士特别安排并带领大家进行了一场开心愉快的拓展培训-无敌风火轮。在有竞争也有合作的团建活动中，全体员工都积极参与并投入其中，在愉悦身心的同时也加强了团队凝聚力。
Dr. Mills delivered his speech after the training started, he introduced how Sias IS has been able to overcome the effects of the three-year epidemic and continue to grow and develop, and how everyone in the room could learn what it takes to move from survival to a better future. At the same time, Dr. Mills and the departments leaders warmly introduced our new hires to all the staff. The new members’ joining has not only strengthened our team and also injected new energy into Sias IS! In order to enable the new members to better integrate into our team and deepen the communication between us all, Ms. Li Xiaodong, the HR Manager, arranged and led a fun and enjoyable training programme called "The Invincible Pinwheel". In this team building activity where there was competition as well as cooperation, all the staff actively participated in it and strengthened the team cohesion while enjoying themselves physically and mentally.
作为一所国际学校，一切为了学生和为他们提供安全的生活和学习环境一直是西亚斯外籍学校工作的重点。我们在帮助学生们取得优异的学业成绩之外，还致力于保护所有在校儿童和青少年免受伤害。我校学生事务主任, 邦德先生及其助教采用案例和政策结合的方式为大家解读了我校的儿童保护工作。在场的每一位员工也都签署了儿童保护协议，大家将一起与学校并肩，携手共同创造一个安全安心的校园环境。
As an international school, it has always been a priority for Sias IS to do everything for the benefit of its students and to provide them with a safe environment in which to live and learn. Apart from helping our students to achieve academic excellence, we are committed to protecting all children and young people in our school from harm. Mr Bond, the Dean of Students, and his teaching assistant explained the school's child protection work using a combination of case studies and policies. Every member of staff in the room signed a child protection agreement to work alongside the school to create a safe and secure environment for our students.
西亚斯外籍人员子女学校于2023年5月正式成为IB世界学校。为了使每位员工都更加深刻的理解IB，会务组特别邀请到有着丰富IB工作和研究经验的MYP协调员-阿里夫先生为大家讲解相关知识和内容。培训中，通过互动和交流，IB理念变的更加清晰和深入人心。
In May 2023, Sias IS officially became an IB World School. In order to make everyone here understand IB more deeply, the Training Committee has invited Mr. Arif, the MYP coordinator, who has rich experience in IB work and research, to explain the knowledge and content of IB, and through the interaction and exchange of ideas, the concept of IB became more deeply rooted in the hearts of our staff.
在新学年伊始，行政团队的领导们也就本部门的制度和流程，在培训中进行了新的梳理和讲解，并对2023-2024的工作计划做了简明的汇报。
The leaders of the administrative team gave a new overview and explanation of their department's systems and processes, concise reports on their work plan for 2023-2024 were shared as well during the training.
校长米尔斯博士在做结训演讲时，通过一个真实的故事，生动的为大家阐释了One Team Focus on One Goal 的理念。不论身处何种岗位，每个人都是团队中的重要一员，只有心系同一个目标才能不断奋进，共同实现最终的理想。
In the closing speech, Dr. Mills vividly explained the concept of One Team Focus on One Goal through a true and inspirational story. No matter what position you are in, everyone is an important member of the team, and only by focusing on the same goal can we continue to make progress and achievements.
