锡耶姆，英国

我的家乡在锡耶姆（Seaham），锡耶姆与哈罗校友拜伦勋爵有一段渊源。1815 年，他娶了锡耶姆庄园主的女儿安娜贝拉-米尔班克（Annabella Milbanke）女士为妻。拜伦在锡耶姆期间写下了代表作《希伯来歌曲》。 据说，他正是在美丽的锡耶姆庄园海滩上写成的。美景激发灵感，我并不感到意外。照片显示的正是锡耶姆庄园和锡耶姆海滩。

马塞马拉国家公园，肯尼亚

我来到非洲肯尼亚广袤的大草原上 ，《狮子王》现场版正在上演，在动物世界里所能见到的所有野生动物就在眼前的时候，惊讶的同时也感叹大自然的伟大和生生不息，有机会建议大家一定要亲自去一趟肯尼亚，与动物“亲密接触”，会对生命和自然更有敬畏之心。

昆明石林，中国

一如往年，这个暑假我继续探索着我们美丽的中国。这一次我们来到了云南，这里有着著名的石林景观和迷人的自然风光，其中九乡溶洞的奇特地貌和神奇景色让我们叹为观止。

长白山瀑布，中国

位于吉林的长白山瀑布口有一巨石叫“牛郎渡”，将瀑布分为两股。两条玉龙似的水柱勇猛地扑向突起的石滩，冲向深深的谷地，溅起几丈高的飞浪。这里一年四季水流不息。

吕耶尔，瑞士

在这里，我参观了瑞士美丽的小镇格吕耶尔，它以壮丽的景色和美味的奶酪而闻名！这里离日内瓦湖不远，我在湖边游泳，与亲朋好友一起享受阳光和冰淇淋！这是人生一大幸事！

开罗，埃及

在我最近的开罗大金字塔之旅中，我对其巨大的规模和历史意义惊叹不已。在大金字塔内，我沿着古老的走廊攀登，想象着建造者的生活。错综复杂的象形文字和建筑让我对人类文明的成就充满敬畏。骑骆驼观赏九座金字塔是一次令人叹为观止的经历。广袤的沙漠景观在我眼前延伸，金字塔矗立在那里，是人类智慧的见证，令人印象深刻。这次旅行是历史、文化和奇迹的迷人融合，让我对埃及丰富的过去有了更深的了解。

东京，日本

假期期间我们一家带着孩子去了东京，游览了香火鼎盛的浅草寺，感受古老的日本文化，欣赏美丽的庙宇，并体验了日本和服和浴衣文化。在繁华的城市当中，也可以逛逛恬静的上野动物园，国立科学博物馆，漫步在17世纪，江户时代私家皇宫庭园风格的浜离宫恩赐庭园。

布达佩斯，匈牙利

刚刚结束布达佩斯的迷人之旅！这座城市丰富的历史和令人惊叹的建筑让我叹为观止。从宏伟的布达城堡到多瑙河畔热闹的集市，每一个角落都是一次新的探险。游览温泉浴场是一次放松身心、感受文化的体验。布达佩斯古老魅力与现代活力的融合确实令人着迷。我迫不及待地计划着下一次造访这块迷人的欧洲瑰宝！

巴斯，英国

今年夏天，我去了英国的巴斯。这是一座以其丰富的历史和令人惊叹的建筑而闻名的城市。它以罗马式浴场和乔治亚式建筑而闻名。图片中的建筑建于 18 世纪。

新疆，中国

叶尔羌汗国，是在中国明代新疆建立的伊斯兰教地方政权。叶尔羌汗国王陵在布局和图案装饰等方面，别具风格，是伊斯兰教优秀建筑艺术，对了解当时的政治、经济状况、生活习惯、埋葬方式等具有重要的历史价值。

佛罗伦萨，意大利

我探访了意大利佛罗伦萨的多处博物馆，看到了自然历史博物馆中的猛犸象骨骼，而达芬奇博物馆中达芬奇设计的早期 “坦克”给我留下了深刻的印象，这是达芬奇众多超前创意中的一个。

埃塞俄比亚

2023 年夏天，我访问了非洲的埃塞俄比亚。这是一个发展中国家，非常重视传统和宗教习俗。这里是世界上穆斯林和基督徒和平共处的极少数地方之一。最近的国内政治紧张局势破坏了该国的稳定，该国现在的目标是以更可持续的方式重建经济。埃塞俄比亚人民是最热情好客的民族之一，家庭的价值受到高度重视。我衷心祝愿埃塞俄比亚及其人民能够制定并实现新的目标，创造更加美好的未来。

西安，中国

暑假去了西安旅行，印象最深刻的就是大唐不夜城。步行街周围的建筑都是模仿唐朝时期长安古建筑的风格，晚上在这里散步，真的有一种梦回唐朝的感觉。

Seaham，UK

My hometown is Seaham and it has a connection to an old Harrovian Lord Byron. He married Seaham Hall owner's daughter, Lady Annabella Milbanke in 1815. Byron wrote much of his “Hebrew melodies” while in Seaham.  It is rumoured he did this on the beach – Seaham Hall Beach. It doesn't surprise me that the beauty of the landscape inspires. Maasai Mara National Reserve, Kenya

I came to the vast savannah of Kenya, Africa, where the live version of The Lion King was being staged. When I saw all the African wildlife in the documentary "Animal World" that I watched, I was amazed at the grandeur of nature and the endlessness of life. If you have the opportunity, I suggest you go to Kenya in person, and "close contact" with the animals, you will have a greater reverence for life and nature.

Stone Forest of Yunnan, China

As in previous years, this summer holiday I continued to explore our wonderful China. This time we travelled to Yunnan, with its famous stone forest landscapes and fascinating natural scenery, including the deep caves of Jiuxiang, which took our breath away with their strange landforms and magical scenery.

Changbaishan Waterfalls, China

At the mouth of Changbaishan Waterfall in Jilin Province, there is a huge stone called "Niulangdu", which divides the waterfall into two streams. The two dragon-like water columns bravely swoop down to the protruding rocky beach, rushing into the deep valley, splashing up several feet high flying waves. The water flows continuously throughout the year.

Gruyère , Switzerland

Here, I visited the beautiful town of Gruyère in Switzerland, which is known for its magnificent views and delicious cheese! It’s not far from Lake Geneva, where I swam and enjoyed sunshine and ice-cream with friends and family! It's one of life's great blessings!

Cairo, Egypt

During my recent trip to the great pyramids in Cairo, I marveled at their immense size and historical significance. Inside the great pyramid, I climbed up the ancient corridors, imagining the lives of those who built it. The intricate hieroglyphics and architecture left me in awe of the civilization's achievements. Viewing all nine pyramids from a camel ride was a breathtaking experience. The vast desert landscape stretched before me, and the pyramids stood as impressive testaments to human ingenuity. The trip was a captivating blend of history, culture, and wonder that left me with a deeper appreciation for Egypt's rich past.

Tokyo, Japan

During the holidays, our family took the child to Tokyo and visited the incense-laden Asakusa Temple to experience ancient Japanese culture, admire the beautiful temples and experience the culture of the Japanese kimono and yukata. Amidst the hustle and bustle of the city, it was also possible to visit the peaceful Ueno Zoo, the National Museum of Science and stroll through the 17th century private Edo-era Imperial Garden at Hamarikyu-en.

Budapest, Hungary

Just returned from an enchanting journey to Budapest! The city's rich history and stunning architecture left me in awe. From the grandeur of Buda Castle to the vibrant markets along the Danube, every corner was a new adventure. Exploring the thermal baths was a relaxing and culturally immersive experience. The blend of old-world charm and modern energy in Budapest is truly captivating. Can't wait to plan my next visit to this captivating European gem!

Bath，UK

I visited Bath in England this summer. It is a city that's famous for its rich history and stunning architecture. It's known for its Roman-built baths and Georgian architecture. The buildings in the picture were built in the 18th century.

Xinjiang, China

The Yarkant Khanate was an Islamic local regime established in Xinjiang during the Ming Dynasty in China. The Yarkant Khan's Royal Mausoleum, with its distinctive style in terms of layout and pattern decoration, is an excellent architectural art of Islam, and is of great historical value for understanding the politics, economic conditions, living habits and burial methods of that time.

Florence, Italy

I explored a number of museums in Florence, Italy, and saw the mammoth skeleton in the Natural History Museum, while I was impressed by Leonardo da Vinci's early 'tank' design in the Leonardo da Vinci Museum, one of his many ideas ahead of his time.

Ethiopia

In the summer 2023, I visited Ethiopia in Africa. Ethiopia is a developing country with great emphasis on traditions and religious practices. This is one of the very few places in the world where Muslims and Christians live peacefully together. The recent political internal tensions have destabilized the country which now aims to reconstruct the economy in a more sustainable way. The Ethiopian people are among the most welcoming people and the value of the family is highly regarded. I wish all the best to Ethiopia and their people to set and reach new goals for a better future. 

Xi'an, China

I travelled to Xi'an during the summer holidays, and what impressed me most was the Great Tang Night City. The buildings around the pedestrian street are modelled on the style of the ancient buildings in Chang'an during the Tang Dynasty. Walking here at night really gives you a feeling of dreaming back to the Tang Dynasty.
