继获批正式成为IB PYP候选学校之后,10月27日,长沙市岳麓区彼一米森林学校再次喜获国际文凭组织(IBO)发来的官方信函,被批准正式成为国际文凭大学预科项目(IB DP)候选学校!

After being approved as a candidate school for the IB Primary Years Programme (PYP). On October 27th, the school received an official letter from the International Baccalaureate Organization (IBO) granting its approval.

CBFS彼一米中学筹备组自今年8月成立以来,极尽高效地完成了材料准备、网上申报和审查。DP候选学校身份的获得,不仅彰显学校雄厚的办学实力,也是我校高水平国际化教育的证明!在今后的一至两年内,学校将积极按照IB组织的要求做好学校管理体系的完善,专业老师的引进与培训,课程体系及评价体系的构建,以及其它资源配套,为成为IB世界学校打下坚实的基础。

Since its establishment in August of this year, the CBFS Middle School Preparation Team has efficiently completed material preparation, online application, and review. The attainment of the candidate school status not only demonstrates the school's strong educational strength but also proves its high-level international education. In the next one to two years, the school will actively improve the school management system, introduce and train professional teachers, establish curriculum and assessment systems, and provide other necessary resources to lay a solid foundation for becoming an IB World School.

国际文凭组织IBO于1968年在瑞士日内瓦注册为非盈利基金会,发展至今,全球已有159个国家,共5000多所学校提供IB课程。

The International Baccalaureate Organization (IBO) was registered as a non-profit foundation in Geneva, Switzerland in 1968. It has now expanded to 159 countries and more than 5,000 schools worldwide offering IB programmes.


IB课程的专业性、 学科链接性及知识应用性已受到国际普遍认可。国际文凭组织为了贯彻落实国际教育的连续统一性,提供一套从幼童到青少年的连贯完整课程,包括小学项目 (PYP)、中学项目(MYP)、大学预科项目(DP)和国际文凭职业教育证书项目(IBCP),被誉为“国际教育中的皇冠”和“最成熟的国际化素质教育”。

The professionalism, subject connections, and application of knowledge in IB programmes have been universally recognized. In order to implement the continuity and unity of international education, the IBO provides a coherent and comprehensive curriculum from early childhood to adolescence, including the Primary Years Programme (PYP), Middle Years Programme (MYP), Diploma Programme (DP), and Career-related Programme (CP). It is renowned as the "crown jewel" and "most mature international quality education" in international education.


IBO的教育宗旨是终身教育(Life-long Education),它倡导国际主义和对不同文化的理解与尊重,致力于培养酷爱探究、知识渊博、有人道主义精神的青年,使他们成为积极主动的终身学习者、全面发展的人和有社会责任感的公民,旨在通过他们创造一个更加美好、更加和平的世界。

The educational philosophy of the IBO is Education for Life. It advocates internationalism, understanding, and respect for different cultures. IB Diploma Programme


IB DP大学预科项目是国际文凭组织为16—19岁学生设计的具有学术挑战性、注重学科平衡性、有全球统一毕业考试的2年制教育项目,是全球公认的国际教育领跑者。

The IB Diploma Programme (IB DP) is a two-year educational programme designed for students aged 16 to 19. It is academically challenging, emphasizes subject balance, and includes globally standardized final examinations. It is globally recognized as a leader in international education.


IB DP课程旨在培养认同本土文化的具有国际情怀的终身学习者,致力于让学生在智力、社交、情感和身体等各方面得到全面发展。学生需学习6门学科课程和3门核心课程,学科课程涵盖:语言与文学研究、语言习得、个体与社会、科学、数学和艺术六大学科领域;核心课程包括认识论(TOK),创造、运动与服务(CAS)和拓展论文(EE)。课程设置全面均衡,文理兼顾,尊重差异;课程评价科学合理,注重学习过程中学生综合能力的培养。

The IB DP aims to cultivate lifelong learners who identify with their local culture and have an international mindset. It is dedicated to the comprehensive development of students in intellectual, social, emotional, and physical aspects. Students study six subject courses and three core courses. The subject courses cover six areas: language and literature, language acquisition, individuals and societies, sciences, mathematics, and the arts. The core courses include Theory of Knowledge (TOK), Creativity, Activity, Service (CAS), and the Extended Essay (EE). The curriculum is well-balanced, respects differences, and the assessment is scientifically reasonable, focusing on the cultivation of students' comprehensive abilities during the learning process.


IB DP课程以其卓越广度和深度受到全球大多数国家的认可。相较于其它课程体系毕业的学生,IBDP学生在申请北美、欧洲等世界主流国家知名的大学时会具有较强的竞争力。考生的高级水平学科如在IBDP全球考试中获得高分,甚至可以在部分大学获得相应学科的学分减免。

The IB DP is widely recognized globally for its breadth and depth. Compared to students graduating from other curriculum systems, IBDP students have a competitive advantage when applying to well-known universities in North America, Europe, and other mainstream countries around the world. Additionally, students who achieve high scores in IB DP higher level courses can receive credit exemptions in some universities.

CBFS was able to become an IB DP candidate school within a short period of time due to the hard work of the group and school leadership as well as the entire staff, who have always maintained a dedicated work ethic and worked together towards a common goal.   • 曾担任中国最早IB学校之一北京世青国际学校教学校长、北京青苗国际双语学校顺义校区中方校长、格瑞斯教育研究院副院长兼天津校区校长、北京致知学校行政校长以及ISA爱莎国际教育A-Level(英国中学高级水平考试)项目行政校长等。

  • 陈斌校长作为长沙市岳麓区彼一米森林学校CBFS(小学至高中一体化国际化学校,规划中的初、高中预计于2024年9月开学)的中方校长,在学校理事会及创校校长的领导下,带领管理团队负责学校的筹备运营和综合管理,领导教育教学团队建立健全课程体系,研究教学方法,并推动落地实施。

  • Senior international education expert with 36 years of teaching, operation and management experience in front-line schools. 

  • He has served as the academic principal of Beijing World Youth Academy (one of the earliest IB schools in China), the Chinese principal of Beanstalk International Bilingual School in Shunyi Campus, the vice president of Grace Education Research Institute and the principal of Tianjin Campus, the administrative principal of Beijing Enlighten School, and the administrative principal of A-Level programmes with ISA Education. 

  • Mr. Byron Chen has been appointed as the Chinese Principal of Changsha BeeMee Forest School (CBFS) (Ages 6-18, the junior high school and high school is expected to open in September, 2024). Under the leadership of the School Board and Founding Principal, he will lead the management team to be responsible for the preparation, operation and overall management of the school, and lead the academic team to establish a stancard curriculum system, research teaching methods, and promote the implementation.

  • 本科毕业于湖南师范大学中文教育专业,硕士毕业于香港教育大学国际教育领导力与变革专业。在中国传统以及国际化教育体系中有10年以上的教学经验,他自本科毕业后在国际化学校从事中学语文教育工作,并担任班主任多年;也曾担任过学部副校长以及国际课程主任等职务。他扎根于国际教育,具有IB PYP、MYP、DP以及IGCSE等多个项目的培训证书,且于2022年取得了IB领导力项目证书(双证)。

  • 他有着严谨务实的学术精神,专注于每一个孩子的成长与发展,同时也在教学理念上不断追求着新的突破,发展以学生为中心,以培养学生核心素养能力为目的课程是他多年以来职业追求与目标。他坚信每一个孩子的成长都值得被期待,每一份耕耘都能够获得回报。

  • Mr. Jack Zhao graduated from Hunan Normal University with a bachelor's degree in Chinese Education and got his master’s degree in international educational Leadership and Change from Hong Kong Education University. He has more than 10 years of teaching experience in both traditional Chinese and international education systems. He has been engaged in Chinese education for middle schools in international schools since his graduation, and served as a class teacher for many years. He has also served as Vice President of the Department and Director of International Programs. Rooted in the field of international education for many years, he has obtained certificates in multiple programs such as IB PYP, MYP, DP, and IGCSE, and two IB Leadership Program Certificates in 2022. 

  • Being rigorous and chasing high quality of academic results, he focuses on the growth and development of every child and constantly pursues new breakthroughs in pedagogy. Developing students-centered courses and aiming at cultivating their core literacy has been his career pursuit and goal for many years. He firmly believes that the growth of every child is worth expecting, and every effort can be rewarded.


CBFS成为候选学校真正只是一个开始,后面还有很长一段路要走。之后,在国际文凭组织IBO的监督与审核过程中,国际文凭组织将委派专员,对我校教师培训、课程开发、日常管理等各方面进行线上及线下全程指导。我们将一如既往地实践国际文凭项目的教育理念,提高教学标准,不断改进与完善课程设置和教学评估体系,致力于培养深谙中华文化之美兼具开放、追求卓越与国际情怀的全球化创新型人才。

CBFS becoming a candidate school is just the beginning, and there is still a long way to go. During the supervision and review process by the International Baccalaureate Organization, commissioners will be appointed to provide guidance both online and offline on teacher training, curriculum development, and daily management. We will continue to implement the educational philosophy of the IB programme, improve teaching standards, constantly enhance and refine curriculum design and teaching assessment systems, and strive to cultivate globally innovative talents who have a deep understanding of Chinese culture and possess openness, a pursuit of excellence, and an international mindset.


未来,我们也将继续砥砺前行,积极推动课程融合,在全面落实国家课程标准的基础上,科学融合国际IB课程框架及IB教学方法,发挥IB在技能培养和研究能力培养上的长处,顺应国家新课程改革理念,走在课程改革前沿,先行先试,积极推动课程改革实践,为学生提供优质的国际教育资源,开启通往世界一流名校的快捷通道。

In the future, we will continue to forge ahead and actively promote curriculum integration. Building on the comprehensive implementation of national curriculum standards, we will scientifically integrate the international IB curriculum framework and teaching methods. Leveraging the strengths of the IB programme in skill development and research ability cultivation, we will adapt to the new concept of national curriculum reform, stay at the forefront of curriculum reform, and take the lead in exploring and implementing curriculum reform practices. We will provide students with high-quality international educational resources and open up a fast track to world-class universities.
