The Foundation students were encouraged to explore their natural curiosity through a water play activity. By scooping, squeezing, and pouring water, the children had the opportunity to enhance their sensory and fine motor skills. Furthermore, they were engaged with inquiry questions such as "What do we see?" and "What do we feel?” which led to exciting discoveries.

通过“水游戏”活动,老师鼓励Foundation的学生去探索,激发他们天生的好奇心。通过舀水、挤水、倒水等活动,增强他们的感官探索能力和精细运动技能。此外,老师用诸如“我们看到了什么?”和“我们感觉到什么?”等探究性问题来吸引学生,并且得到了令人兴奋的发现。

Kindergarten 1 students have been fully engaged as they explored concepts, made new connections, and asked essential questions. The students explored different materials, such as watercolours, paint, markers, blocks, and sand, as well as natural resources in the classroom to become more conscious and active learners. Through these activities, they took ownership of their learning and developed a sense of curiosity and wonder.

Kindergarten 1的学生们都很投入。老师鼓励他们去探索概念,建立新的联系,提出一些至关重要的问题。学生们在课堂上使用不同的材料,如水彩、油漆、记号笔、积木、沙子和自然材料,成为积极的学习者。通过这些活动,学生们提高了能动性,培养了好奇心和惊奇感。

The Kindergarten 2 learners created a life-size self-body outline using rolls of white paper as an inquiry activity in the classroom. This activity allowed the learners to explore and learn about their bodies, self-identity, and body systems. While learning about ‘My Body,’  the class recited a poem about the five senses.

Kindergarten 2班的孩子们在教室里用一卷卷的白纸制作了一个真人大小的自我身体轮廓,这是一个探究活动。这个活动让学生们探索和学习他们的身体,自我认知和了解身体系统。在学习“我的身体”的同时,全班朗诵了一首关于五官的诗。

K3 have been continuing their journey, learning about themselves. They pushed forward with their own books writing and illustrating things they like and dislike.

K3班的孩子们继续努力着关于“了解他们自己的书”的旅程,他们推进自己的书,写出和说明他们喜欢和不喜欢的东西。

Music

The Foundation class had a wonderful Music exploration! They learnt a new song called ‘Alphabet’ and tried their skills at identifying its different tunes. Additionally, they also combined singing their favourite rhyming song while playing the xylophone. 


The Kindergarten 1 class learnt the song ‘Pass the Hat’, while playing a fun game to further expand on their listening and collaborative skills as students sang the sound associated with the card pulled from the hat.  


The Kindergarten 2 students were introduced to the song ‘The Sound Box.’ The children looked for pictures and objects that began with the same sound shown. This activity allowed the students to explore the beginning sounds and enunciate them correctly in each chorus and verse.

Foundation班度过了一段美好的音乐时光!学生学习了一首名为“Alphabet”的新歌。这首歌帮助孩子们能够清楚地区分字母的名称,而不单只是字母的发音。此外,他们还在演奏木琴时唱了他们最喜欢的押韵歌曲。


Kindergarten 1学生通过有趣的游戏学习歌曲“Pass the Hat”。首先,老师选择一个孩子拿着帽子并从中选择一张卡片。然后,把卡片展示给大家看,让全班同学开始跟着唱。


Kindergarten 2的学生学习了歌曲“The Sound Box”。孩子们围成一圈,老师向他们解释盒子里有什么。随后,学生寻找以相同发音开头的图片和物体。这项活动让学生有更多机会探索首发音,并在唱每个副歌和歌曲节选中能正确地发音。
