“From Ancient Canton to Modern Greater Bay Area”   “古广府，今湾区”历史文化讲座

With her profound knowledge, Ms. WANG summarised the Canton cultural system as "eclectic, pioneering, innovative and applied to the world". At the end of the lecture, Ms. WANG also presented the future picture of GBA to the students, pointing out the significance of the construction of the Shenzhen-Zhongshan Bridge for GBA and inspiring the students to imagine the future of GBA, thus encouraging them to contribute to the development goal of GBA in the future.

学识渊博的王工程师，扼要地以16个字概括了岭南文化体系：“兼收并蓄，勇于开拓，鼎新思变，经世致用”。最后，王工程师还向同学们描绘了未来大湾区的发展面貌，指出和港珠澳大桥平行而建，横跨珠江三角洲的“深中通道”当中蕴含的基建发展意义，启发同学们对大湾区未来发展的想象，从而鼓励同学们未来为湾区发展目标贡献一份力量。

During the Q&A session, students and teachers asked questions about the current situation and future development of GBA cities, and Ms. WANG gave wonderful answers with her professional knowledge and life experience. Ms. WANG used the example of "buying a house" to help students understand the current development of GBA and discuss with them the direction of its future development. The students were able to deepen their understanding of GBA and strengthen their sense of identity as GBA citizens during the enjoyable exchange.

在互动交流的环节中，师生们提出了关于湾区城市现状与未来发展的一些问题，王工程师结合自己的专业知识和生活经历，给予了精彩的回答。王工程师更风趣地以择地置业为题，引领学生理解湾区当下发展的现况，与同学讨论湾区未来发展的方向和重心。此次讲座内容详实，讲师语言生动有趣，同学们在愉快的交流中加深了对湾区的认识，亦增强了作为一名湾区居民的认同感。

Principal LAI also noted that GBA has always played the role of a "window" for our country, introducing wonderful overseas cultures, promoting our excellent cultures overseas, and combining Chinese and Western cultures to make our culture richer and more interesting. He also sincerely hoped that all young teachers and students who attended the lecture would reflect on the contents of the lecture so that they would be ready to ride the waves of GBA's development and try their best to live up to the expectations of their parents, schools, and country.

Pressed Flower Workshop

非遗岭南押花特色课程

At this time's Intangible Cultural Heritage Workshop, Ms. Li-jian LI, an artist and trainer of pressed flower, led the students into the world of Lingnan Pressed Flower, learning its special techniques and experiencing its rich artistic connotation.

此次非遗体验课堂，由押花工艺师、培训师李丽坚女士带领同学们走进岭南押花世界，学习押花的多种制作技艺，体验押花丰富的艺术内涵。

Ms. LI demonstrated a variety of exquisite pressed flower works to the class. The students listened attentively to the history of pressed flower art while learning to appreciate it from a professional perspective.

李丽坚女士在课堂上展示了多种精巧的押花作品，同学们一边认真听培训师讲述押花艺术的历史，一边在讲师的指导下学习如何欣赏押花艺术。

After the introduction, the students took the materials and started to make their own work, cutting patterns, making collages, shaping and laminating... They used their creativity to make their work more exquisite. In the end, the students successfully created beautiful pressed flower works. Through this hands-on experience, the students not only deepened their understanding of pressed flower art, but also enhanced their aesthetic and creative skills.

讲解结束后，学生们拿起材料开始动手制作，本次课堂制作的是押花挂画作品。裁剪图案、粘贴构图、定型塑封……学生们发挥自己的创造力来制作挂画，力求将作品制作得更加精美。最后，学生们成功创造出一幅幅富有创意的挂画作品。在亲自动手的过程中，学生们不仅加深了对押花艺术的认识，也提升了审美和创造的能力。

After the event, the students are still immersed in the learning atmosphere. Participating in such an event has not only enriched their knowledge, but also cultivated their practical skills and understanding of and respect for traditional culture.
