【News】赏才艺促融合武汉爱莎举行中西音乐交流活动

On the morning of December 14th, an inspring music exchange workshop took place at ISA Wuhan School. This event was jointly organized by ISA Wuhan, Xinhua Primary School, Guanshidun Primary School, and Huangling Primary School, with the aim of promoting students' musical talents and enhancing cultural exchange and integration between schools.

12月14日上午，在武汉爱莎学校校园内举行了一场令人振奋的中西音乐交流活动。此次活动是由武汉爱莎学校、新华小学、官士墩小学和黄陵小学共同组织，旨在促进学生们的音乐才能、增进校际之间的文化交流与融合。

Ms. Yang Hong, the principal of ISA Wenhua Wuhan Primary School, first welcomed the arrival of the three schools and expressed her expectations for the workshop. She stated: “Music has no borders. We hope that today's workshop will allow us to meet more friends, see a bigger world, and make our future lives better”. Ms. Liu Mingli, the vice-principal of Xinhua Primary School, also expressed in her speech the hope that through musical exchange, the understanding between the four schools could be enhanced, and while spreading China's excellent traditional culture, the integration of multiculturalism could also be felt.

武汉爱莎文华小学校长杨红首先欢迎三所学校的到来，并表示了对本次活动的期待，她说：音乐是无国界的，希望今天的活动能够让我们认识更多朋友，看到更大的世界，让大家未来生活更加美好。新华小学副校长刘明莉校长也在致辞中也表示，希望通过音乐的交流，增进四所学校之间的认识和了解，在传播中国优秀传统文化的同时，也能够感受到中西多元文化的共融性。

Subsequently, students from orchestra and choirs of the four schools brought a series of splendid performances:

The a cappella Choir of ISA Wenhua Wuhan Primary School started the concert with their touching singing.

武汉爱莎文华小学阿卡贝拉合唱团用动人的歌声拉开了音乐会的序幕；

Xinhua Primary School's folk orchestra brought a very exciting and professional piece, “My Motherland”.

新华小学民乐团带来了一首非常精彩和专业的曲目《我的祖国》；

Guanshidun Primary School's String and Song “Li Weng’ s Rhyme“, presented a very special instrument to everyone - the Chinese version of the ukulele.

官士墩小学的弦歌雅颂《笠翁对韵》，向大家展示了一个非常特别的乐器——中国版的尤克里里；

Huangling Primary School's saxophone group performed “My Motherland and me”, which was grand and majestic.

黄陵小学萨克斯乐团一首《我和我的祖国》，大气磅礴。

The ISA Wuhan String Orchestra's performance of 'Palladio' showcased an outstanding Western string music piece to the audiences.

武汉爱莎弦乐团所演奏的《Palladio》则向到场的来宾们展示了一首卓越的西方弦乐作品。

Finally, the event concluded with a collaborative piece between ISA Wuhan School and Xinhua Primary School, “You Raise Me Up”. The ISA Wuhan String Orchestra and Choir, along with Xinhua Primary School's folk orchestra, rehearsed the piece in a very short time and presented it perfectly. They showcased the charm and diversity of music with melodious tunes and touching voices.

最后，活动以一首武汉爱莎学校与新华小学合作的曲目《You Raise Me Up》落下帷幕，武汉爱莎弦乐团与合唱团，以及新华小学的民乐团在极短的时间内，快速合排曲目，以非常完美的表演呈现，他们用悦耳的旋律和动人的歌声，展示了中西音乐的魅力和多样性。

During this event, the students not only demonstrated their musical talents but also enhanced their friendship and understanding through cooperative performances and interactions, further igniting their passion and creativity for music. This concert was also a part of ISA Wuhan’s ongoing advocacy for an open, inclusive community and the integration of multicultural education.

本次活动中，学生们不仅展示了自己的音乐才华，还通过合作演出和互动，增进了彼此之间的友谊和理解，同时也激发了他们对音乐的热爱和创造力。这次音乐会也是武汉爱莎一直以来倡导的开放包容的社区、多元文化融合教育的一部分。通过与其他学校的合作，学生们能够接触到不同的音乐风格和文化背景，拓宽自己的视野，培养跨文化交流的能力。
