农历新年春节即将来临，孩子们的寒假生活也即将开始。在此，首先感谢各位家长本学期对我校各项工作的支持，同时也对您的孩子在本学期所取得的进步表示祝贺！

寒假是孩子们走出校门、参与社会、关心家庭、学会生活、锻炼本领、增强素质、调整身心的大好时机。为了让您的孩子度过一个“平安、和谐、充实、健康”的假期，请您协助孩子根据以下提示，安排好假期生活。

寒假注意事项

（1）请教育孩子注意交通安全，严格遵守交通规则，牢记“马路似虎口，安全每一步”，防止交通意外事故的发生；

（2）提醒孩子注意居家安全，特别是单独在家的时候，务必严格规范液化气等易燃易爆危险品和火、电的使用，防止液化气爆炸和火灾等事故发生。未满7周岁的孩子不得单独留在家中；

（3）注意饮食安全，防止“病从口入”。不暴饮暴食，不食不洁食物；

（4）注意活动安全，严禁学生私自或结伴到江、河、湖、海、池塘、蓄水池戏水，严防溺水事故的发生；严禁孩子燃放烟花爆竹。

要增强孩子的法制意识，加强文明礼仪教育，提高孩子自我保护能力。假期中有新年，孩子会外出玩耍，但应注意以下几点：

（1）教育孩子远离营业性网吧、游戏机室、歌舞厅等不安全场所；

（2）教育孩子文明上网，坚决拒绝色情、反动、恐怖等不健康网站；

（3）严禁孩子吸烟、饮酒、赌博，严禁孩子接触毒品；

（4）教育孩子勿与不良人员来往；

（5）增强孩子防盗、防骗意识，提高自我保护能力；

（6）教育孩子接人待物要文明礼貌，要孝敬父母、长辈，过年期间不向他人索要红包、礼物。

（1）让子女做一些力所能及的家务劳动和公益活动，增强劳动观念，养成勤俭节约、热爱劳动的良好习惯；

（2）支持孩子主导或参加各类调查、考证、体验等研究性探究活动，发掘潜能，培养兴趣爱好；

（3）提倡家长与孩子共同参与有益的亲子活动，如共读一本书、共同完成一项手工制作等，增进亲子关系。

（1）要适当进行体育锻炼，提高身体素质；

（2）关注孩子的心理健康和情感需求，给予关爱和支持，帮助孩子调整心态，迎接新学期；

（3）放假之初，要督促孩子按学校要求制定作息时间表，并遵照执行。避免熬夜、长时间玩电脑游戏等不良行为；

（4）要有计划地督促孩子认真完成假期作业，鼓励孩子多看健康、有益的影视节目和书刊，增长见识，开阔眼界。

Dear parents,

The Spring Festival in 2024 is just around the corner, and the winter vacation is about to begin. First of all, we would like to appreciate all the parents for their support to our school this semester, and also to congratulate the students on the progress they have made in this semester! Winter vacation is a good time for us to experience beyond school, participate in society, care about their families, learn to live, exercise their skills, enhance their quality and adjust their body and mind. In order to let your child spend a safe, harmonious, full and healthy holiday, please help your child arrange the holiday life with the following tips.

(1) Please educate children to pay attention to traffic safety, strictly abide by the traffic rules, remember that "the road is where accidents happen, we should take care every step",and prevent the occurrence of traffic accidents.

(2) Remind children to pay attention to home safety, especially when they are alone at home. Be sure to strictly regulate the use of flammable and explosive hazardous materials such as liquefied gas and fire and electricity, so as to prevent the explosion and fire of liquefied gas and other accidents. Children under the age of 7 cannot be left alone at home.

(3) Pay attention to food safety to prevent disease from entering the mouth. Do not overeat, and do not eat unclean food.

(4) Pay attention to the safety of activities. Students are strictly prohibited to play in the river, lake, sea, pond, reservoir privately or in groups, to prevent drowning accidents. Children are forbidden to set off fireworks.

To enhance children's legal awareness, strengthen civilized etiquette education, and improve children's ability to protect themselves. There is a Chinese New Year in the holiday, children will go out to play, but parents should pay attention to the following points:

(1) Educate children to stay away from commercial Internet bars, game rooms, dance halls and other unsafe places.

(2) Educate children to use the Internet morally, and resolutely refuse websites of pornography, reactionary, terror or other fouls.

(3) Prevent children from smoking, drinking, gambling, and contacting with drugs.

(4) Educate children not to associate with feckless persons.

(5) Enhance children's ability of anti-theft, anti-fraud,and self-protection.

(6) Educate children to be polite when socializing treating people and handling things, to honor parents and elders, and do not ask for red packets or gifts during the Spring Festival.

(1) Encourage your children to actively participate in various social practical activities.

(2) Let children do some housework and public good activities within their capacity, enhance the concept of labor, develop the good habit of thrift and love of labor.

(1) Do some proper physical exercise, and improve the physical quality.

(2) At the beginning of the holiday, please help your children set a schedule and stick to it according to school's requirement. Avoid some bad behaviors such as staying up late and playing computer games for a long time.

(3) Supervise your children to complete their vocation tasks, and encourage children to watch healthy, beneficial movies and TV programs and books more so as to expand their knowledge and broaden their horizons.
