In particular, HKU's dual degree programmes with many of the world's top institutions have ignited a great deal of interest and concern among ASJ students, with exceptional students being able to graduate with a diploma from two top universities. For example, HKU's joint programmes with Cambridge University (Computer Science in Engineering, Physics and Biology in Natural Sciences), HKU's joint programmes with Peking University (Economics and Finance, Law, and Management), and HKU's joint programmes with the University of California, Berkeley (Bachelor of Arts and Social Sciences), and so on.
Manager Ng introduced HKU's undergraduate admission policy and application requirements for the 2024 academic year. HKU's admission policy is also quite flexible and diversified, including the Top Athletes Admission Scheme, the Schools' Recommendation Direct Admission Scheme, and the Flexible Admission Scheme, which aims to provide greater assurance that HKU and the preferred candidates can work together to achieve the goal of running in both directions.
During the Q&A session, ASJ students actively spoke up and raised questions centred around aspects related to the admission application. In the face of the students' enthusiastic questions, Manager Ng of the HKU Admissions Office gave detailed answers and shared his valuable advice and suggestions.
Through the communication and interaction, the students had a deeper understanding of the curriculum, teaching methods and employment of various majors in the University of Hong Kong, and gained important information related to further studies, as well as a clearer plan for their future.
