The thrilling Battle of Humen 183 years ago is now a page in history, but the heroism and patriotism it represents continue to inspire generations of young people. To commemorate this important historical event, Grade 7 students from ASJ (Dongguan) embarked on an educational journey to experience the depth of history at the site by retracing the ancient battlefield.

183年前的一场惊心动魄的虎门之战，如今已成为历史中的一页，但它所代表的英雄气概和民族精神却依旧激励着一代又一代青年人。为了纪念这一重要历史事件，东莞暨大港澳子弟学校七年级的学生们踏上了一段充满教育意义的寻迹之旅，通过重走古战场缅怀英烈，实地感受历史的厚重。

The event, "Searching for Traces of Heroes", gave the students the opportunity to learn about the history of the Battle of Humen and the story of Guan Tianpei, the "Most Outstanding Admiral". Afterwards, the students also retraced the ancient battlefield, touched the site of the fort with their own hands, and participated in the signing ceremony of the Martyrdom Site of Guan Tianpei and his comrades-in-arms to commemorate the national heroes who sacrificed their lives to defend our homeland.

在此次“寻迹英雄”主题活动中，学生们通过聆听讲解学习了虎门之战的历史，更了解了“最杰出的元帅”关天培的故事。随后，学生们还重走了古战场，亲手触摸炮台遗址，并参与了关天培将军和他的将士们殉难地签名仪式，以实际行动缅怀在虎门保卫战中牺牲的民族英雄。

Through this event, the students not only felt the weight of history and the hardships of war in the field study, but also thought deeply about how those who came before them fought bravely to defend their homeland at that time. This first-hand experience gave them a deeper understanding of historical events and inspired them to love and cherish the history and culture of China.

通过此次活动，学生们在实地学习中感受到历史的厚重与战争的艰险，思考着当年的英雄们是如何奋勇抗争，捍卫家园的。这种亲身体验让他们对历史事件有了更加深刻的理解，也激发了他们对祖国历史文化的热爱和珍惜。
