为促进与香港“姊妹学校”的联系与交流，近日，佛山暨大港澳子弟学校总校长赖永春、校长张晔、副校长姚汝基一行到访香港浸会大学附属学校王锦辉中小学及福建中学附属学校参观，并就课程特色、升学指导、学生发展、师生互动等方面展开了深入探讨，共同探索教育合作的新路径。

In order to promote the contact and exchange with the "sister schools" in Hong Kong, recently,  Lai Wingchun, Head of ASJ-Foshan, Christine Zhang, Principal, Yiu Yukei, Vice Principal and other members visited HKBU Affiliated School Wong Kam Fai Secondary and primary school and Fukien Secondary School Affiliated School and  had in-depth discussions on curriculum features, guidance for further studies, student development, interaction between teachers and students, and explored new paths of educational cooperation.

The Head of English Section of HKBU Affiliated School Wong Kam Fai Secondary and primary school, shared the school's Junior Secondary Novel Study curriculum(Novel Study curriculum) and Senior Secondary HKDSE curriculum. Novel Study focuses on the integration of English language skills, including reading, writing, listening and speaking training.  allowing students to closely relate to real life and develop their ability to use language in different scenarios.

此外，学校通过组织学生参加辩论赛，给予学生发展英文知识和技能的机会。通过与实际生活紧密联系的学习内容和参与学术竞赛等活动，学生们得以全面发展，为未来的学习和职业生涯打下坚实基础。

In addition, the school gives students the opportunity to develop their English knowledge and skills by organizing debating competitions. Through learning content that is closely related to real life and participation in activities such as academic competitions, students are able to develop their all-roundedness, laying a solid foundation for their future studies and careers.

升学及就业主任则分享了学校在学生生涯规划和升学准备方面的工作。学校采取一系列措施帮助学生做出正确决定。首先是认识自己，学校利用性格测验等工具帮助学生了解自己的兴趣和特点。其次是提供职业自信，组织研讨会介绍未来职业趋势和财商教育。最后是训练技能和态度，举办各种工种的体验和模拟面试工作坊。学校多次举办职业博览会，邀请家长和专业人士参加，为学生提供了解不同职业的机会。

The  Head of Careers and Employment then shared the school's work on student career planning and preparation for further education. The school adopts a series of measures to help students make the right decision. The first is to know oneself. The school uses tools such as personality tests to help students understand their interests and characteristics. The second is to provide career confidence. Seminars are organized to introduce future career trends and financial education. Lastly, it trains skills and attitudes by organizing workshops on various job experiences and mock interviews. The school organizes several career fairs to which parents and professionals are invited, providing students with the opportunity to learn about different careers.

在福建中学附属学校，大家了解到学校的Leader in Me项目。张晔校长表示，福建中学附属学校与佛山ASJ的教学模式有共通之处，包括两校都是主要采用香港课程为核心、全英语教学，并融合IB理念框架和教学策略，以主题性和探究式学习作为主要教学方式，同时亦注重提升学生品格修养，培养学习力和激发创造力。

At Fukien Secondary School Affiliated School, the group was introduced to the school's Leader in Me program. Christine Zhang said that Fukien Secondary School Affiliated School and ASJ-Foshan share common teaching and learning modes, including the adoption of the Hong Kong Curriculum as the core curriculum, whole English teaching, the integration of the IB conceptual framework and teaching strategies, and the use of thematic and inquiry-based learning as the main teaching and learning approach, as well as the emphasis on enhancing the students' character development and cultivating the power of learning and stimulating creativity.

Mr. Tsui Au Yee Wah, Principal of Fukien Secondary School Affiliated School, said that at March and April, ASJ-Foshan and Fukien Secondary School Affiliated School will carry out in-depth student exchanges to enhance the emotions of young people of Guangdong and Hong Kong and to improve their overall quality and vision of the Bay Area. It is expected that teachers and students of the two schools will have more exchange opportunities and activities in the future to promote teaching and learning development.

随后，张晔校长还接受了香港经济日报-教育版记者采访，谈及学校办学目标、收生情况、教学语言、以及IB-PYP课程实践等方面内容。学校致力于为学生提供国际化教育，注重学生综合素质培养，并与香港教育机构展开合作交流，探讨教育发展新方向。

Afterwards, principal of ASJ-Foshan, Christine Zhang was interviewed by a reporter from Hong Kong Economic Times - Education Edition, talking about the school's goals, student enrollment, language of instruction, and the practice of the IB-PYP program. The school is committed to providing students with an international education, focusing on the comprehensive development of students, and cooperating and exchanging with educational institutions in Hong Kong to explore new directions in education development.

Mr. Lai Wing-chun, Head of ASJ-Foshan, also said that ASJ-Foshan will soon apply for the  "Participating School" which would facilitate students to study in Hong Kong universities through taking the DSE examination in the Mainland.
