We have ushered in the long-awaited 2024 Sports Carnival of LWS Suzhou.

On the fields, we witnessed many magnificent moments of LWS students breaking through themselves and challenging their limits.

开幕：红蓝队火力全开

随着开幕式的进行，揭示了本次体育嘉年华的意义，不只是一场体育竞技的比拼，更是一次团队精神的凝聚，一种永不言败的体育精神的闪耀。在苏州美高学校的赛场上，学子们用汗水与拼搏书写着属于他们的青春故事。

As the opening ceremony progressed, it unveiled the significance of this sports carnival, which was not merely a competition of athletic prowess, but also a cohesion of team spirit and a shining example of sportsmanship. On the fields of LWS Suzhou, the students were writing their youth stories with sweat and perseverance.

赛场沸腾热血比拼

历时9天，赛事涵盖了田径、篮球、羽毛球、实心球、拔河、跳绳、跳远、踢毽子、呼啦圈等数十个项目。在小学、初中、高中的各个年龄段，学生们都被分为了红队和蓝队，在赛场上互相竞争，又彼此扶持。

Spanning nine days, the event covered dozens of items including track and field, basketball, badminton, shot put, tug-of-war, and long jump, providing a stage for students to showcase themselves and strive diligently. At various age groups in primary schools, middle schools, and high schools, students were divided into the Red Team and the Blue Team. Wearing eye-catching red or blue uniforms, they competed against each other on the field while also supporting one another.

田径场上，同学们用速度与激情诠释着体育的魅力；篮球场上，同学们默契配合、激烈对抗，每一次精准的投篮、每一次巧妙的传球都赢得了观众们的阵阵掌声；羽毛球场上，他们用自己的力量与技巧，不断刷新着纪录，挑战着自我；还有两人三足、趣味田径等有趣的项目，给同学们带来了无限的欢乐。

On the track field, students interpreted the charm of sports with their speed and passion. On the basketball court, they demonstrated seamless teamwork and intense competition, with every precise shot and clever pass earning rounds of applause from the spectators. On the badminton court, they continually broke records and challenged themselves with their strength and skills. Furthermore, fun events such as the three-legged race and recreational track and field activities brought immense joy to the students.

随着比赛的进行，红蓝两队之间的比分交替上升，蓝队一度领先，但随后红队又迅速反超，比赛异常激烈，场外同学们的热情也被点燃。

As the competition progressed, the scores between the Red Team and the Blue Team fluctuated, with the Blue Team taking the lead at one point but then being swiftly surpassed by the Red Team. The match was exceptionally intense, igniting the enthusiasm of the students watching from the sidelines.

赛场上的感动时刻

比赛现场，也时不时闪现出一幕幕令人感动的瞬间。一场障碍赛中，蓝队虽然凭借出色的实力和团队协作，已经早早地冲到了终点，但红队的表现同样值得称赞。面对蓝队的领先优势，红队并没有选择放弃，而是继续齐心协力，到达终点，展现出了不屈不挠的团队精神。

田径接力赛中，霍庆余同学作为红队的一员，在奔跑中不慎跌倒，但他并没有放弃，而是迅速爬起来，不顾伤痛，继续奔跑。在霍同学的坚持下，红队最终完成了比赛，并赢了蓝队，他的精神也深深感染了在场的每一个人。

On the competition field, there were also moving moments that flashed by from time to time. In the steeplechase, despite Blue Team's early lead and their outstanding ability and teamwork, the Red Team's performance was equally commendable. Faced with Blue Team's advantage, the Red Team did not choose to quit; instead, they continued to work together and reached the finish line, demonstrating an unyielding team spirit.

During the relay race, as a member of the Red Team, Jerry accidentally fell while running. However, he did not give up; instead, he quickly got up and continued running despite the pain. Thanks to Jerry's perseverance, the red team completed the competition and won against the blue team, and his spirit deeply infected everyone present..

深刻领悟体育精神

历时9天，所有学生被分为红蓝两队，展开了激烈的比拼。比赛过程有赢有输，但同学们都全力以赴，展现出了顽强的斗志和团队精神。

通过这次活动，同学们深刻领悟到了两大体育精神。首先，他们明白了输了并不可怕，重要的是要有重新站起来、再次挑战的勇气，相信自己有能力赢回来，这种永不言败的精神，将激励他们在未来的道路上不断前行，面对困难时更加坚韧不拔。

其次，同学们也深刻体会到了团队合作的重要性。他们意识到，一个人赢不算赢，只有整个团队齐心协力、共同努力，才能取得真正的成功。这种团队精神的培养，将对他们未来的学习和生活产生深远的影响。

Over the course of nine days, all students were divided into two teams, the Red Team and the Blue Team, engaging in intense competitions. Despite the wins and losses throughout the games, the students gave it their all, displaying their tenacious fighting spirit and teamwork.

Through this activity, the students profoundly grasped two major sportsmanships. Firstly, they understood that losing is not dreadful; what matters is having the courage to stand up and challenge again, believing in their own ability to win back. This never-say-die spirit will inspire them to keep moving forward on their future paths and face difficulties with even greater perseverance.

Secondly, the students also profoundly experienced the importance of teamwork. They realized that winning as an individual does not constitute true victory; only when the entire team works together with one heart and one mind can genuine success be achieved. This cultivation of team spirit will have a profound impact on their future studies and lives.
