刀尖上的艺术 | 我校学子在木雕比赛大放异彩！
我校ECA课程，初高中木雕课程在广州日报主办的“粤读的力量”活动中大放异彩，荣获奖项。其中，G11陈同学荣获“最佳粤读书签”奖，我校荣获“优秀组织奖”。
比赛中，学生不仅展现了精湛的木雕技术，还巧妙地运用了押花技术，亲手制作了精美绝伦的书签。
此次“粤读的力量”为市级单位活动，市级评委、全市作品征集，活动旨在弘扬中华优秀传统文化，激发青少年的阅读兴趣和创造力，推动书香社会的建设。
我校ECA参加这次活动“粤读的力量”书签大赛是我校为推广阅读文化、全面发展、情操陶冶而参加的一项重要活动，更是为了培养爱国情怀、创新能力。力求为粤港澳大湾区培养出更优秀的人才。
我校G11的陈翠妍同学的书签作品主题是“南粤舞狮”设计灵感主要来源于在大湾区这片充满故事的土地上，南粤舞狮不仅是一项流传千年的民俗活动，更是中华民族精神的象征之一。它代表着勇气、智慧与和谐共生的美好愿景。
此次书签设计，我们选择了传统木雕板印制技术，将南粤舞狮的独特韵味定格于方寸之间，旨在通过这种古老而精致的手工艺，向世人展示南粤文化的深厚底蕴与现代创新的完美融合。
ECA课程注重学生的全面发展，通过体育活动、艺术创作、社团活动等方式，培养学生的兴趣爱好；艺术类ECA能挖掘学生的审美和创造力。
其中，木雕作为一门传统手工艺，能够让学生领略到中华文化的博大精深，增强文化自信。雕刻过程需要耐心与细致，有助于培养学生的专注力和精益求精的精神。木雕作品中的每一处刀痕都承载着学生的情感与努力，完成一件作品能带来极大的成就感和满足感。学习木雕不仅能让学生掌握一门技艺，更能促进其全面发展，培养多方面的优秀品质。
Our school's ECA (Extracurricular Activities) wood carving course for junior and senior high school students has shone brightly at the 'Power of Reading in Guangdong' event organized by the Guangzhou Daily, winning awards! The students not only demonstrated exquisite wood carving skills but also ingeniously applied the technique of flower pressing to create exquisitely beautiful bookmarks.
Power of Reading in Guangdong
The 'Power of Reading in Guangdong' is a municipal level event, with municipal evaluation and city-wide work collection. The event aims to promote fine traditional Chinese culture, stimulate teenagers' interest in reading and creativity, and promote the construction of a book loving society.
Participating in the 'Power of Reading in Guangdong' Bookmark Competition is a significant activity our school has joined to promote reading culture, foster all-round development, and cultivate refined sentiments. It is also aimed at nurturing patriotic sentiments and innovation capabilities, striving to cultivate more outstanding talents for the Guangdong Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area.
Chen , a student from Class 11A, chose the theme 'Southern Lion Dance of Guangdong' for her bookmark design. Her inspiration mainly comes from the land of the Greater Bay Area, rich in stories, where the Southern Lion Dance of Guangdong is not only a folk activity passed down for thousands of years but also one of the symbols of Chinese national spirit. It represents courage, wisdom, and the beautiful vision of harmonious coexistence. For this bookmark design, we selected traditional woodblock printing techniques to capture the unique charm of the Southern Lion Dance within a small space. The aim is to showcase, through this ancient and exquisite craftsmanship, the profound heritage and perfect integration of modern innovation in Southern Guangdong culture to the world.
"The ECA (Extracurricular Activities) program focuses on the all-round development of students, cultivating their interests and hobbies through sports activities, artistic creation, club activities, and other means. Artistic ECAs can uncover students' aesthetic
appreciation and creativity.
