In Kindergarten 2, students enjoyed reading the book “At the Zoo,” which taught them all about animals. Through discussions and extension activities, the children learned about the different animals and their unique traits, enhancing their understanding of wildlife and teamwork in a fun and engaging way.

This week, our Kindergarten 3 students explored universal measurements of time, specifically, days of the week and months of the year. To celebrate our learning of autumn and the month of November, the students embarked on a nature walk to observe, and collect leaves, acorns and other autumn treasures leading to the creation of beautiful autumn wreaths.

In Early Years Music Time This week students learnt and introduce scarf dance for Foundation and Kindergarten 1. The children holding the scarf in their hands while moving up and down, right and left, and turning around. Swaying scarves along with music can encourage self-regulation skills. While’s the Kindergarten 2 Music Class, this week students learned how to use ribbons, holding them in their hands while moving and dancing. We learned div one, which they call loop and loop left and right, swilling up and down. In connection with Unit 2 “How We Express Ourselves.” This activity can foster teamwork, coordination, and rhythm, a love of music, increase feelings of achievement, improve confidence, and boost self-esteem.
