在第36个教师节的晚上，海归学校小学部举办了本学年的“家长信息夜”活动。“家长信息夜”是学年中的首次大型家校活动，家长们可以借此机会认识任课老师，了解各学科的课程计划、教学模式等。

家长们在学校剧场和孩子的教室，与全科老师和专业课老师们进行交流。各科老师为家长们呈现了精心准备的课程介绍。

从超学科探究课程与教学方法的介绍，到课程实施内容、评估方式与标准，再到语言与作业政策……老师们希望，通过信息夜，让家长们对学校的教育理念、课程内容等有一个较为全面的了解，从而更好地进行家校协同与配合。

小学部校长俞云花女士说：“我们的老师们用自己的专业奉献态度很好地诠释了'教师节'的精神。” 老师们希望，在这个教师节的夜晚，用信息夜打造一个家校沟通的良好开端。

海归学校一直致力于建设一个由学校、家庭、社区等紧密携手的学习型社区，在家校之间建立开放交流、相互信任的伙伴关系。而“家长信息夜”正是每个学年伊始，一根重要的连结学校与家庭的纽带。

接下来，幼儿园与中学部也将相继举行相关家校活动，我们期待家长们的积极参与。

This year OCAC’s Parent information night was held the same day as Teachers day. “This is the first large-scale home-school event in the school year, where parents take the opportunity to learn about the teachers, curriculum and other subjects being offered.

Parents met the homeroom teachers and specialist teachers in the school theatre and their children's classrooms. During this time, teachers of all subjects presented well-prepared course introductions to parents.

From the introduction of UOI (Unit of inquiry) courses and teaching methods, to curriculum implementation content, assessment methods and standards, to language and homework policies… The goal of this informational night was for the parents to have a comprehensive understanding of the school’s educational philosophy and curriculum content and ensure stronger hoe-school connections.

The Primary principal Ms. Yu Yunhua stated, "Our teachers have interpreted the spirit of the Teachers' Day very well with their professional dedication." Teachers hoped to create a good start of home-school communication through this information night.

OCAC has always been committed to building a tight Partnership with the school, families, community and establish an open and trusting partnership between school and home. This Parent Information night is held annually at the beginning of each school year.

Next, the kindergarten and secondary school will also hold related home-school activities, and we are looking forward to the active participation of parents.
